“The service was phenomenal. The food, delicious. Best italian restaurant in Philly, the closest thing I've seen so far to an authentic italian restaurant in Philly (I stayed in Italy for 6 weeks). We got the tiramisu and gelato, and we got the carbonara and pappardelle al ragù. All of it was just so good. I wanna come back again, but I need to save up for it because it was very pricey. But worth it.“

“Delicious ice cream, charming ambiance (moulin rouge-cirque du soleil vibes mixed with a daydream) and a diverse menu that would cater to whatever mood I’m in. Chris was awesome in breaking down all the options and served us up something tasty. Love this place!“

“LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“Great service, lots of variety - and not just the flavors: ice cream, cookie desserts, pretzels, and more. This isn't your ordinary water ice spot. They can even bring a water ice cart to your events! A convenient and memorable part of Springfield's past and its future. Right on the town's main strip.“

“Fantastic small batch made ice cream. You can really taste the difference that goes into making ice cream with love and quality ingredients. Really fun and inventive flavors as well as the classics. My kinda place - best part it’s locally owned and they support their community sports and charities. Great husband and wife team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We came in on a December Thursday night and were the only ones in the store. You're able to sample any flavor you want, which was great. We ended up getting thin mint and a pumpkin, which were both delicious. The sad part about winter is that not many people are coming in for ice cream, so the ice cream itself wasn't as creamy and had some ice chunks. I've come in the summer and thought the ice cream was delicious then. Give it a try if you're in the area!“
“Very detailed, knowledgeable, FUN pasta making class! The space is intimate and Nick was great at teaching us how to properly make pasta. Hands down the best pasta we had in Philly. The pistachio pesto sauce is out of this world and the charcuterie boards before the meals were delicious! They had pasta kits available for sale which we snagged after the class. It was a different fun thing to do and we cant wait to make our pasta at home :-)“

“Look at the perfect swirl of the soft serve! The soft serve was rich and creamy with a smooth texture. We were shocked to get 8oz of soft serve for only $6 after we paid extra $0.5 for the waffle cone! Also if you’re wondering, it was totally worth it to get the waffle cone.If I ever go back I’ll try the coffee cookie dough ice cream that we didn’t have enough stomach space to try.* Vanilla Soft Serve with Dark Chocolate DipMy friend ordered this classic combo, simple but delicious. The Valrhona dark chocolate shell was thin and crispy, giving a satisfying crunch as we bit into it.*Turkish Coffee & Donut Twist Soft ServeI was not the only person who was brave enough to order coffee soft serve at late night, as I kept seeing people holding the coffee/donut twist. The Turkish coffee tasted so unique that it didn’t taste like any other regular coffee soft serve. It captured a strong and robust flavor. While the donut side was sweeter and helped mellow out the intensity from the coffee.“
“Live love Chucks ? best water ice and custard in South Philly, everything is homemade and fresh and the owners are so sweet. Down to earth place, prices are affordable. Personal favorite ices are the black cherry, pina colada, and strawberry lemonade.“
“I couldn't put the cup down. It was sooooo fresh and tasty. I was able to try all the available options before purchasing. The mango lemonade was the best. I had the blueberry lemonade as well. That was great too. I love that I could see the fruit in the water ice. I definitely will be back to try other flavors and the funnel cake next time I'm in Philly!!“

“My buddy told me about this place. I was in the area so figured I’d stop in.It’s a very tiny storefront, however it’s not out of the ordinary for places like this, especially in the city on a Main Street to be much bigger if at all. It has all that you need. I believe it had a wooden bench in there to sit and eat at. As well as 2 or 3 Bar-top kind of tables. Seating capacity is probably 8-10 at most.I can’t speak for anyone but one could only assume that most people are To-go’ing instead of dining in. However, it’s definitely an option. I sure did. I like the small quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed looking at the pictures on the wall, checking out the ice cream/milkshake flavors.Very unique place.Has your average milkshake flavored options, but also has some that you wouldn’t find in many other places. #supportsmallbusinesses“

“I stopped here with my kids over the summer & was surprisingly refreshed at how fresh the ice cream was. I wanted ice cream this past weekend & told my husband he should try this place. I got him a cookie monster milkshake & he was blown away at how tasty it was. I got ice cream with a waffle that was made fresh & we enjoyed that so much too“

“Get the rib eye! They give you a steak knife. You don’t need a steak knife. I used my butter knife. It was so tender I bet I could have used the side of my fork. Staff is so polite, drinks are so tasty. Appetizers melt in your mouth. And the tiramisu. It’s my favorite and I try every restaurant and pastry shop tiramisu I can find. My compliments to the chef and staff. Absolute heaven!“

“Great, old time ice cream place. This would be the perfect spot to visit after a baseball game!I took my kids for an ice cream on a lazy Sunday afternoon this summer. The place was packed! However, the line moved fast.My younger son ordered the mint chocolate chip ice cream and my older son tried the moose tracks. (I took a taste of both)The mint chocolate chip was so delicious, it reminded me of ice cream I got from a little candy shop up in Northern Wisconsin when I was a kid. My older son said that their moose tracks was the best he's ever had.We will definitely go back!Only wish they had some gluten free cones or cookies.“

“Willkay’s is the best water ice and ice cream spot ever! My family and I come all the way from South Jersey just to get some delicious desserts from them all of the time. The owner and staff are very friendly, kind and pleasant to every customer. They always make us feel like family when we come visit from out of town. Their establishment is very clean and their food and water ice/ice cream are always fresh and delicious. They’re the best hands down! “Ordered 2 Sundaes, a Razzle & 2 Ice Cream Cupcakes. Everything was great. So good that my fiancé convinced me to order dessert for the family again, just a week later. They even threw in a free slice of cake with my order, which was really appreciated. It's a great way to hook new customers and keep them coming back. I know we will be.“

“I absolutely adore the cookies at this place! They're not just good; they're downright phenomenal. One of the things that sets them apart is their size - they're huge! And when they say they're always hot, they mean it. There's nothing quite like sinking your teeth into a warm, freshly baked cookie that practically melts in your mouth. From the moment you step in and catch a whiff of that irresistible aroma to the last crumb on your plate, the experience is nothing short of heavenly. Each bite is a delightful combination of soft, gooey goodness and rich, indulgent flavor. Whether you're a cookie connoisseur or just someone with a sweet tooth, these cookies are guaranteed to leave you craving more. Trust me, once you've tried them, you'll be hooked!“

“This place gets BUSY but the staff works incredibly hard and fast! The ice cream is light with a wide array of interesting flavors. Hard scoop type, no softserve/custards. They make their own waffle cones which always smell incredible-- sweet, vanilla-rich, and toasty. If you're newer to Jeni's, go when there isn't a crazy line to taste a couple flavors. It holds up the line like crazy when a party of people want to try every flavor and the rest of the line is spilling onto the street lol.Vegetarian options: Large selection of dairy based ice creams and some non-dairy!Dietary restrictions: notify staff if you have dietary restrictions! The scoops mostly share the same cleaning station.Parking: super limited street parking. Nearby paid garages and lots.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly ice creamWheelchair accessibility: It's a somewhat narrow location!“

“Omg!!!! I found this place by accident today. Walker over to it from the far side of the lot expecting to see a pizza place. Walker inside and it literally can't get anymore basic. A few tables and folding chairs. Over the place was clean and the bathroom was very clean. Now for the important part. They served me up the best chorizo tacos I have ever had! Good authentic Mexican tacos served with radish I put some of their house made hot sauce on the tacos and it was heaven. This is one of the hidden gems that you rarely find. I'll be back for sure !!!! I should also mention the service was great the nice lady behind the counter was very pleasant.“
“I would like to thank Denise for her great customer service she went above and beyond to help me I wanted a certain flavor of water ice and she was so kind to find it for me I really appreciate her kindness Thank you again for your kindness Calvin“
“I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this great place. happy to tell that we had a fantastic evening and the restaurant was evidently one of the reasons for the outstanding evening. The stuff participated in a gorgeous way, the food was yummy and my friends were very cheerful. We shall no dout visit again for more events. Thank you very much.“
“My wife has always wondered why I always refuse any of the area water ice spots, especially the chain stores, until I took her to Pops. My wife's first real water ice was at the original South Philly location on Oregon Ave, then we found Havertown.Pops is by far the best water ice I have ever had, and I've been enjoying Pops since I was a kid. The Havertown location is spot on like Philly, and it saves my a trip onto the city.Do yourself and try this, the pineapple is my favorite with actual chunks of fruit.,“

“It was good, but there's no organization for the lines, people stand wherever, you're never sure where to stand. They need to get some rope or something to let people know there are two windows for service. The war ice was good, but the turkey sausages weren't as good as they've been in the past.“
“We came here for a little sumn sweet after dinner in downtown Media around 7:30pm. I've never had Italian ice or custard, but I was excited to try. There was a wide array of flavors for both ice and custard and different things that could be ordered. I was intrigued by the gelati, which is layers of Italian ice and custard. However, none of the flavors really seemed like they would have gone together. Ultimately, we ended up getting a large coffee custard. It was absolutely delicious! The texture was thick and creamy and really refreshing for the hot day. The taste of coffee was pretty light but still enjoyable. My brother got a strawberry concrete, which was vanilla custard with strawberry topping, nilla wafers, and pie crusts blended in. I thought this was also pretty good! Overall, I'm glad we stopped by and I would definitely try their Italian ice in the future.“

“If you're in the mood for Roman-style pizza (crispier, thicker crust, square) like no other, Alice Pizza should be on your list! It is one of my favorite restaurants of Philadelphia! -- Highlights: Both counter service for pizza takeaway and personal pizzas for seated dining are versatile options for the type of dining you're craving. Also, the apple tart is delicious! -- Alice Pizza is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It offers both counter-service for pizza slices or takeout and limited seating at tables, the bar, and window counters. For takeout, the slices are measured by weight and can be heated or not. I would recommend asking for a long heating if you want your pizza to be very hot. Depending on the person, I've found the pizza is still room temperature. Additionally, for take out, at the time I have written this review, they currently do not accept tap to pay with card, so Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. will not work and you need to have your physical card on hand. I've dined at Alice Pizza many times and I've found that my vegetarian favorites are the gnocchi, funghi e quattro formaggi (mushroom, four cheeses) pizza, and the apple tart. The gnocchi has a nice chew but isn't too tough. The mushroom pizza has a white sauce and it is so creamy and delicious. However, almost all of their pizzas are winners for me. They are Roman style pizzas, so they have a thicker crust compared to the NY style. Lastly, the apple tart is genuinely one of the best I've had in my life! Its thick crust and not too sweet apples with the ice cream on top are so tasty! Other desserts I enjoy are the tortina del nonna (lemony), banana bread pudding (has nuts), and strawberry ricotta cheesecake (very decadent). I would recommend making a reservation if going for restaurant week or dining at a peak hour. I recommend passing on the gelato for the other desserts, though it is personal preference. Unfortunately, I do not believe they have many/ any gluten free pizza options however they do try to be very mindful of other food allergies. I've always had impeccable service and delicious food at every visit to Alice Pizza. It is a little sunny inside during the day and dim during evenings. The tables are a little close to each other, as well. I highly recommend Alice Pizza for a grab and go bite or for your next date or special occasion! It is especially convenient for those seeing a show at the Kimmel Center or nearby.“
“Very quick. A long line quickly formed behind us as my family was ordering. We sat on the benches there to enjoy our treats and I watched how the Rita's team "knock out" the line with ease. Many flavors of custard and water ice to choose from. They were busy and efficient! People left happy, including us. ?“
“Old school like a root beer float with Stewart's Root beer! If you're on a diet don't try it BUT if your like me it's worth the calories! ? They got everything and some ! I think you can even get two scoops of heaven topped with whipped cream and a Halo.. served on top of the roof from an angel floating down ?.. ?“
“Not your typical ice cream spot. More of a unique boutique styled local spot in my opinion. Their bubble wrap cones remind me of a very fluffy waffle - not soft where the ice cream melts through but not super tough were its chewy. The owners have definitely perfected their recipe to make the perfect texture to pair with their ice cream. The Grasshopper is a personal favorite. My pups love getting their peanut butter ice cream in a cup, a perfect snack, and my 2 year old son is always begging for their strawberry ice cream. The workers there are always extremely sweet and pleasant to talk to, service is quick as they're very attentive.“

“I recently discovered this ice cream shop,CJ’S waterice & ice cream ? and it has quickly become my favorite. The flavors are rich and indulgent, and the texture is incredibly smooth. They also have a great pizza ? pretzels and funnel cake and fried Oreo , which is a huge plus. The shop itself is clean and inviting, and the prices are reasonable. It's the perfect spot to satisfy your ice cream cravings . ? ?“
“Every time I have a cherry water ice with vanilla custard, I reminisce. It has been in my life for over 25 years, and it tastes the same since the first one way back when. These bad boys are the signature boop bop straight from pound town in my eyes. You must get the pretzel too especially if your from the Philadelphia area.“
“I get fantastic service at this Rita's location, from kind and attentive staff like Tommy, Ryan, and Ethan, who always smile and welcome me.The lines move super fast, its a great in and out treat to get on a hot day! Theres a large selection of flavors to choose from.“

“A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip. The Thai milk tea was the best I have ever had. I was offered a sample of the taro ice cream (not something I would have ordered on my own) and WOW. It might have been the best ice cream I have had. Needless to say I ordered one. Check it out, my entire family enjoyed their orders too. Absolutely worth the trip.“

“2023The prices are starting to creep past the point of acceptability. Ice cream time with the fam now costs as much as a movie. Also, the staff seems to get less professional and friendly each year. Even after tipping (well), they have a sort of indifference. I give this place another few years before it becomes unrecognizable from dennyzt.Good products with good customer service. It's the only real ice cream place within the area.“
