“They went above and beyond to make my 19 year old grandson’s Christmas. He could have asked for many things for Christmas and probably gotten them. He said he wanted what he’d been asking for, for a few years, Cry Baby Ice Cream. It was a core memory from middle school that he’s not forgotten. Life gets in the way and not until a few days before Christmas did my daughter reach out to Rich at Rosati Ice to see if we could make this happen for him. The day Before Christmas Eve my daughter and I drove 4.5 hours from Virginia to get Cry Baby Ice Cream. Even though the company was busy with their Christmas Party, employee Nick took time away to come over to the store so we could get the product. Rich’s generosity and thoughtfulness is top notch. Of all the gifts my grandson received, the Cry Baby Ice Cream put the biggest smile on his face.“

“We feasted on Tejas Barbecue. Both the brisket and ribs were delicious. And an added bonus for the ribs, I had to wash off my hands and face 2x. Cole slaw was very good. Carrot souffle was a new tasty experience - who knew that was a thing? Glad we came!“

“Pasta making class Olivia was excellent. She understands the regions of Italy and was able to prep and explain with ease and grace. A participant asked about cacio e pepe, which was not on the agenda, and Olivia quickly prepared the basic but difficult to nail sauce. It was spot on. Would def recommend HBB to friends and family. One suggestion though - supplying guests with aprons would be helpful!“

“I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. BEST water ice AND ice cream in Philly and around!!! I live in the city and can’t wait to get off from work (near chubby’s) to get my Gelati. So far I’ve tried pineapple mango and candy fish and they are all so delicious, not overly sweet and don’t taste artificial. The vanilla ice cream, is so creamy milky and flavorful that you’ll never want to go back to soft serve. Seriously this is so good. They have little tables in front of the shop where you can sit relax and enjoy your treat. The staff is kind and respectful.
Try it while you also support a local business, it’s a win win!“

The cookies are very solid as well (except perhaps the blended one).

“Delicious ice cream! Very cute interior and nice seating outside. I got the mango sticky rice and caramel praline flavors. The ice cream was very creamy and satisfying. Very kind staff. Would love to come back again. Vegan options are available which is wonderful. Also appreciate how clear their signage is regarding potential allergens with an allergen list available via QR code. Very cool that their spoons are compostable and sample spoons are metal and thus washable. Love an environmentally friendly location.“

“I’ve been dying for an ice cream date since the winter and I finally got my wish! My date told me this was the place to get ice cream and made the 10 minute walk over. We were greeted by a line when I frowned and he said that it’s fast moving. I shrugged. Once we figured out where the end was, told me to pull up Instagram to check out what the weekly offerings were. Peculiar I thought. Honestly, I was disheartened by what was available this week of no fault of their own. But! I know now to check when I’m in town for something I’d really want - to convince for more ice cream dates. There is a regular albeit small menu. To be delight, it has my favourite ice cream staple on it, soft serve and m&ms or what they call a Brick. The line to the inside was also fast moving like promised. There were two registers that were asymmetrically split as most wanted soft serve in that moment. The inside was.. busy. Once the ice cream came out tho we were back on the street enjoying it! I got my brick which was a fantastic price for a city treat. My date got an Oreo dripped cone that he was boosting about in line. Definitely more his taste.
TLDR - the ice cream is delicious, check the Instagram, and don’t be discouraged by a line - instead make some friends!“

“As somebody who can't have dairy, it's extremely difficult to find ice cream I can eat, let alone SOFT SERVE!!! This place is a godsend. The vegan vanilla is super delicious and they have a wide variety of topping options for extra flavor. My husband is a big fan of their regular, dairy-full soft serve too. Love this place!!“

“The place was crowded on a Friday eve. They were out of ube ice cream. I got the matcha soft serve instead which was pretty good. They have generic flimsy plastic spoon utensils that you just grab - wish they have more hygienic ones that they give to you in your ice cream or those sealed single use wooden ice cream scoopers.
The place is nothing fancy and not for a quiet sit down but you can get your ice cream or drink here to go.“

“First time here. Icebox Frozen Treats is really good. Water ice, pizza pretzel, sausages, ice cream all taste great! The prices are affordable with a variety of treats on the menu as well as specials. The customer service is top notch & you can sit inside & enjoy the A/C on a hot day. Also, they have Connect 4 & building blocks at each table for the kiddos. Highly recommend 💯“
