“This was a place recommended by a friend and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. It’s an independently owned business mostly breakfast and lunch specials. I truly wish people appreciated more family/independently owned businesses as they are the heart of a small community. I had some time before a car appointment and wanted something quick and easy before my appointment. This space is truly cafe sized. It’s small but the community vibe is so sweet and you can enjoy the folks you are with or even your own company. Miss Betty welcomed me and asked how I found them which was word of mouth and told me their specials for the day and I decided to get the Taste Budz special breakfast. I was really hungry from working the night before and didn’t eat at all. I left completely full and the food is made to order so it was hot and the portions were huge. When group of veterans and local fire company they asked me if I was gonna eat all the food I ordered 😆. I smiled and said “I sure am!”. When you walk in you seat yourself and they have tables and booths (more tables than booths). The coffee as strong but tasty. I throughly enjoyed my food and got out in time for my appointment. If you are ever in the town of Aston please check out this hidden gem💎! the people are so friendly and you guys got your selves a new customer especially after my long night shifts at the store!“

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“This was my third time at Ground Provisions over the past 6 months and I'm a big fan! I've thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course menu with the wine pairing in the dining room and at the Chef Counter. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. As much as I loved the little store, I appreciate the extra space they put in for dining now. I hope it continues to do well. So happy there is a fine dining option locally for vegan fare.“

“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! “My experience on Concord Pike was wonderful. If I ever need help with the Kiosk they immediately help. Wish the boxes for food were a little larger but I always enjoy my food.
