“This was a place recommended by a friend and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. It’s an independently owned business mostly breakfast and lunch specials. I truly wish people appreciated more family/independently owned businesses as they are the heart of a small community. I had some time before a car appointment and wanted something quick and easy before my appointment. This space is truly cafe sized. It’s small but the community vibe is so sweet and you can enjoy the folks you are with or even your own company. Miss Betty welcomed me and asked how I found them which was word of mouth and told me their specials for the day and I decided to get the Taste Budz special breakfast. I was really hungry from working the night before and didn’t eat at all. I left completely full and the food is made to order so it was hot and the portions were huge. When group of veterans and local fire company they asked me if I was gonna eat all the food I ordered 😆. I smiled and said “I sure am!”. When you walk in you seat yourself and they have tables and booths (more tables than booths). The coffee as strong but tasty. I throughly enjoyed my food and got out in time for my appointment. “Ordered delivery through the Seasons app. Tracked order. Got a call from DoorDaah that my address was wrong. Driver was rude. Got a message order delayed another 40 minutes. Called the store. Reordered and picked up. Staff could not have been nicer despite it not being their fault. Food was fresh and delicious and Thoth gave a gift card for my trouble. Frustrating experience completely turned around my store team.“

“I used Johnny Paisano’s to cater a holiday party. I had an amazing experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. “What a fabulous find in Havertown. My husband and I loved every dish we had - pear salad, quail, and duck. The bread, some of it olive bread, is outstanding. Cheesecake and Citrus Olive Oil Cake completed an original and inspired meal. The staff is as friendly as can be with impeccable service. I felt we made new friends of the staff! The food was very good, and the service throughout the meal was excellent. The bar area was very nice, and I appreciated that we could have coffee whenever we wanted.We were seated in a private room that could use a few touch‑ups on the walls, but it truly didn’t matter in the moment. “Food is always consistently good. We were there a few weeks ago when on a Wednesday. Apparently there was some group in a side room. Our waitress was MIA most of the meal after she dropped off our food. No refills on drinks when we needed it. Then it took twenty minutes to get our check. Everyone around us was also complaining. One waitress for ten tables? It is obvious they were paying more attention to the larger party in the side room. . They need to hire more waitstaff. It spoiled the outing.“

I love the bread and rolls, however I have noticed the baugettes have shrunk about 10" and the seeded ones are thinner and overcooked. Love the tomato pie but its taste is not as good as it was a year ago. Roasted peppers are always a favorite along with the sesame chicken and chicken salad and soups. I am disappointed that you no longer carry Serano prosciutto, that was the best, now I have to go elsewhere to get it!“
