The lady who runs the register has been very friendly to us when ordering, and she even remembered us today from the last time we were there! This is the best place to go for fast, real, fresh and healthy foods! “Tried out the place on a busy Sunday at noon for breakfast. We got seated fast even with the busy atmosphere. I got the haystack breakfast and now I'm upset because it was so delicious but I live 2 hours away so I won't be able to have it again until i visit home? it was phenomenal and the price is unbelievable. My mom got the country fried steak and she loved hers too. Cannot wait to go again“

“The atmosphere is set up to slightly resemble a shop on a beach boardwalk from what I see. Its beautiful. I am avidly usually against dining in, but this place is a place I would love to take my family inside to eat at. It smells wonderful and is superbly upkept. The staff are kind and make you feel very welcome.Today I got my order for pickup because I am on shift at work, but I will for sure be back to enjoy the experince from the dine-in perspective.It is for sure the BEST sandwich shop/feel-good food shop in Altoona.“
“I'm a vegetarian so my review is limited but I always come here for the fries, they never disappoint, they are always fresh hot and delicious, they are great boardwalk style fries. I got the mushroom sandwich one time and it was alright. The milkshakes are pretty great too!“
“Really like this location restaurant at 1300 7th. Another Wendy’s on Plank Rd made a the mistake saying I was at the wrong Wendy’s, but I was not, they were very nice and honored my order on app. Management was great very courteous at 1300 street location . “
“Everything was delicious and overall a good experience. The only reason I gave 2 stars for service was because of the manager. He accommodated our larger group of 11 and was super professional and kind. The servers that brought our food out were great HOWEVER our main server was absolutely awful. He was rude, impatient, and scatterbrained. I know people have bad days but we started off very understanding and he only got worse. We all still tipped 15% out of common decency but he didn’t deserve it at all. Recommend the restaurant itself, though.Kid-friendliness: We asked to reserve a separate table for our 11 & 13 year old that was close by but made them feel grown up & they not only accommodated it, they made them feel so great.“

Drinks are probably some of the lowest priced in the area! I personall6 recommend the roast beef sandwich, it is the best in the area and I am a roast beef snob. ?The owner makes you feel welcome and remembers you when you return! A genuinely friendly guy and well loved in the community.The atmosphere is cozy and dim , multiple tvs playing sports programming for those who are there for the sports bar appeal, trivial pursuit decks on the table for those who prefer mental athletics. ?Only down side is it is cash payment only, there is an atm near the bathrooms however. I'd recommend stopping by a free sheetz atm prior to your visit.If it's your first visit, you're in for a treat!Parking: Surprisingly plenty of parking for being residential street parking. Even at the busiest times, it seems the farthest you would have to walk is a block.“
