They carefully packaged the soup so it didn’t leak, and even added crackers and spoons. I love all the work they’re doing in the shop to make it more updated. “Fantastic corned beef and pastrami. I had the Liberty, two choices of meat on classic rye bread, topped with cole slaw and Russian dressing (one was topped with Munster Cheese, as well). The sandwiches were fantastic with the meats being absolutely delicious. If you have a craving for an authentic and great taste, come here and order an over stuffed meal on rye!
The pickle bar was great with a choice of 9 pickled items, including peppers and slaw along with a pickled tomato. It's all you can eat, but save room for the main course!
Mine came with a bag of potato chips and I ordered a side of potato salad and a potato knish. Both were good and filling, with the knish being stuffed in a light crust. I enjoyed the fact mustard came with it and nothing was skimped on.
Seating was diner style and menu varied, service was friendly and she kept my drinks filled without me having to ask. We were promptly seated and there were many delicious looking foods to pick from at the front deli.
It is kid friendly and there is plenty of seating.

And it actually allowed you to pay with cards or even your phone and there was no minimum payment like all of the other trash stores in the area. Definitely five stars Norris Beer Deli. Oh, and they even answered the phone when I called before going there with a couple questions. That is literally unheard of with similar stores in that area.“

I went in there for a sandwich and discovered that they have home made Spanish food (hot) everyday and it sells out quick. I have gotten something there everyday since I have been in Philly and it always has been top notch and plentiful. I platter was only 7 or 8 bucks and it was absolutely outstanding.
