“This place was amazing! I would describe the food as artisanal. The combinations of ingredients, and actual preparation was superb. Seriously delicious food. The decor was cool, and there were three rooms with seat yourself tables. (At least three -- we didn't actually go into the "canal room," but I don't think there were more rooms beyond it.) “I want to gripe real quick...I absolutely LOVE Vocelli pizza but I live out in Ernest PA which is 15 minutes from shelocta and 15 minutes from Indiana...I have driven the good bit of distance just to get y'all's pizza but I can't always do it. “Tonight my fiancé and I decided to try two hoagies from Big Dogs in Avonmore. We both got the Omega (Italian hoagies). We ordered online for pick up. I wasn’t sure of the size of them as it didn’t say on the menu but they were probably around 9 inches each. We got them as listed and they were really good! We definitely weren’t disappointed. There was no lack of toppings, the onions are diced instead of sliced, pleasantly surprised.“
“While dine in Pizza Huts are a dying breed, this location is absolutely fantastic in keeping the nostalgia alive. For my time here our waitress, Carol, was absolutely phenomenal and an excellent employee. She is amazingly friendly and makes sure everyone is accommodated whilst not being overbearing and pushy. “We got their flyer in the mail today and decided to give them some business. We're outside of their delivery area, so we just picked up the pizza ourselves. We ordered the standard pizza with two toppings. They use really good cheese. The sauce is on the sweet side, not acidic, not bitter. Overall it's a pretty good sauce. Pizza dough was really good, comparable to some of the best pizza places we've tried out this way. And the prices seemed really fair. Only real complaint I have, and it's not their fault, is we couldn't tell the place was in business when we found it. They need better lighting or something so that you can tell this is a place of business to match the quality of their pies. I rate our experience pretty highly, we'll be back to try some other stuff from the menu.“
“Great pizza, Fantastic crust. Their hours of operation though make no sense to me. They close everyday at 8 pm. I've lived in Leechburg almost a year and because of their hours they lose 90% of my business and the guests in my bed and breakfast tell me the same. I always recommend them to my guests only to hear that they were closed when guests called. Closed at 8pm on a Saturday? That's a bad business model for a pizza place. I hope they make it. The pizza is perfect but if you can't get one after 8 pm why bother?“
“My fiancé and i stopped at the cool water after our engagement party, I noticed my wallet was missing the next morning, a couple that are regulars at this bar reached out to me on facebook that they found my wallet, as well as Andrea (bartender), nothing was missing from my wallet, cash cards, ect. I even offered to give the couple money for reaching out to me, and they would not accept it.I am forever greatful that there are good people in this world, this bar has the most trustworthy employees and regulars.
