“Vegetarian perspectiveReally only one vegetarian option. However, it was good and I liked the vibe of this place. Very unassuming from the outside but busy inside! Service was great, impressive drink menu. I got a sour beer and a cider. The dessert pear donuts were amazing too! Vegetarians/vegans, just make sure to check the menu ahead since options are very limited.“

“The food here is always good. If you want a good burger, this is definitely the spot for it. Pop punk is seemingly always on, and the staff is usually pretty chillKid-friendliness: Mac and cheese and hot dogs, what kid wouldn't like it?“

“Great spot for a private party! We had a retirement party with about 50 guests in the upstairs room at Glory Beer Bar and Kitchen. We were able to use their TV for a slide presentation, microphone for speeches, and speakers for a music playlist. David was the contact person and from start to finish he was so helpful in putting together the perfect menu! All the guests raved about the food: meat, cheese and veggies, mini cheeseburgers, fried chicken sliders, mac n cheese, and homemade cookies. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cool place with great ambiance for a private party!“

“I'm so glad this place came to existence within a 5 minute drive from my place! The staff really made my date night that much better.. the mini golf was fun, challenging, and the games actually worked unlike a few other mini golf spots I've visited, the drinks were great, the bartenders were super kind and honestly I can't wait to come back ?“

“I just left there and the food is so great, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I went with my best friend and I will say hands down the best food I have ever had for breakfast. I do not usually have high expectations for breakfast but it was a whole other level. My friend had the BFast Sando and I had the biscuits with chorizo gravy and scrambled eyes. OMG the best breakfast I have ever had. Shoutout to the chef and recipe. Our server was great I was disappointed I didn’t get his name to shout him out at well but he had curly hair and recommended dinner which we will be back for. I totally suggest making this a stop for any meal. I will bring everyone that comes to town back here from now on. Totally worth it.“

“This has become our go-to place for sandwiches. The ingredients are always very fresh and the rolls and buns are so soft and good tasting. And all that goodness is then wrapped up in paper at least three layers thick so it is fresh and does not get damaged when I tuck it in my bike trunk. Also, whenever we arrive the workers are always so friendly I feel like I am part of a small family and just stopping by for a meal.Matt and Marcella have really been fantastic in their care for the food they create and serve. I believe those that work there enjoy working there, and take pride in what they produce. So we will continue to do our regular meal run because this place is great!“

“Perfect neighborhood gem. Gastropub food is just delicious. Wide variety of food options as well as a terrific beer selection. Through the pub and then a doorway into the "house" next door is a very cozy two floor (maybe three?)experience, a house turned into an eating area, also a surprise pinball machine corner and televisions on both floors. Very unique, very comfortable. You just want to hang there all night as if it were your own house. Love it“

“Alice is an exceptional dining experience with great service at the bar and dining area. The open cooking concept is great to watch and the chefs are well versed in their area of expertise. I had the latkes and spicy eggplant naan, along with the coal fired shrimp. Good dining experience, I would go back again for sure.“

“Had a few hours to kill between flights at Philly International, so my wife and I headed to downtown on the train looking for a neighborhood pub for lunch. Found it! This place is excellent. We had the roast beef and roast pork sandwiches. Plus the "long hots." Good beer selection on tap and in bottles. If we're ever in Philly again we'll return here for sure.“
“Always a good time at Second District Brewing. The people are cool, the service is good, the food is good, and the beer is good, even the styles that lot of other breweries can’t handle. Please patronize this establishment, they deserve all the business they can get!“
“I hosted a surprise milestone birthday party at Chestnut Hill Brewing Co., and I can’t say enough how wonderful it was for my wife and guests. Lindsey and the staff made this special event memorable with their attention to detail and warm hospitality. The brew and food were a huge hit, which was the icing on the cake (literally!). Thanks again!“

“Stopped in after a doctor's appointment as we were in the area. What a cool place! It's a coffee shop/deli type place. Located right off of Washington Square it's an easy walk from the Penn Hospital and medical buildings. I had the cinnamon latte which was delicious!! We also purchased two sandwiches and a scone. Everything was delicious. The second in particular was light and moist. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well! We will certainly return!“

“I’ve been here many times, and it’s hands down my top spot for pizza in Chestnut Hill. The crispy brussel sprouts, fire pit salad, and white pie are absolute must-tries. The dog-friendly outdoor area, along with live music on weekend nights, creates a fantastic vibe for a delightful date night. However, they use separate kitchens, causing occasional delays in receiving appetizers/salads after the pizza. Additionally, utensils are sometimes forgotten when serving these items. Despite these downsides, the fantastic food and overall atmosphere keep me coming back, hoping they’ll improve these minor issues.“

“Had a great brunch here today with my wife and 2.5 year old son. Great food, great atmosphere. I had a delicious seared tuna club sandwich. My son and wife also both loved it. She had the drive through chicken sandwich and he had the grilled cheese and they both really enjoyed (I stole bites from both and concurred). I had a very good Bloody Mary. Service was excellent. They had My Neighbor Totoro on one of the bar TVs which was perfect since it’s my son’s favorite movie (and one of mine as well!).Kid-friendliness: This place is the perfect place to take a young kid out for a meal while still being the exact type of place you’d like to go if you didn’t have a kid. They had all the thoughtful touches for kids (high chairs, crayons and place mat to draw on, kids menu) but without sacrificing the vibes.“

“A big advantage is that it is easily accessible from the center of the UPenn campus and is open late. The first floor is a cafe, and the second floor is operated as a brunch or board game cafe. I recently found out that I can eat it, and it tastes better than I thought. (It's not enough to impress.) I mainly recommend burgers and sandwiches, and the French fries are really delicious. There are also a variety of menus for vegetarians. The price of the main menu is approximately $14 to $16, and light dishes such as soups and appetizers are less than $10. The drip coffee here has a slightly sour taste, so there may be some people who like it or not. Every time I used it, the staff was very friendly and the service was good.“
“Perfect spot to grab a couple beers from their huge selection of cans or draft lines and take in patio season. Tucked into the neighborhood so great spot to walk over to to start the night, weekend, etc off. Would be a fun place to watch games too as they have a good amount of TVs setup as well. Added bonus, it’s dog central so whether you bring your own or just love dogs, this is the spot for you.“
“Went on a Friday night for live music. Was a little confused about the set up at first if we wait for a server, order every thing at the bar, or get one can or bottle at a time and then pay for it at the bar. 3rd party BBQ kitchen was good for BBQ sandwiches. You can try a beer and if you don't like it, try another.“

“It was a really good spot for grabbing a good bite, the buffalo chicken panini was tasty and philly cheesesteak was also nice. I think you definitely need to buy a drink on the side since sandwiches make you thirsty. In nicer weather grab food on the go and enjoy them in the park nearby for an even better atmosphere.“

“If you're looking for a great corner bar with awesome bartenders this is your spot. They know beer and have the best circulating on tap. They have tvs for the sports games and a pool table, and if you bring your own darts, you can play darts.“

“Decent priced drinks, 12+ beers on tap, and good amount of items on snack list. Wouldn't count on getting a full meal here or anything. Most of the snack items are already prepped and reheated (prob in a microwave), I suspect there isn't a full kitchen there. Good neighborhood bar to check out and grab some drinks, more for beers than cocktails IMO.“

“Forever changing neighborhood this is a fairly decent dive bar. Shout out to Starmaid Shantay (sp)(Monday and Wednesday). The place is clean and people play great music from the 'jukebox'. This is an old school pace with two pool tables and a short food menu. I believe the same people own Rose Bar off of Island Ave. They have the standard Asian version of soul food, basically good fried wings with various fried rice on rotation. The Singapore Soup was just okay no tofu or chicken Would I go back? Yep during Happy Hour 5-7 Monday-Friday.“

“This place was fantastic! Super chill vibes, friendly staff, and amazing board game selection with someone there to help select a game specific to what you’re looking for. Aside from that, the menu offers both vegan and gluten free options, as well as a large selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to accommodate everyone’s needs/preferences. Will definitely be returning!“
