“Parking: This is located in Chinatown, so mainly street parking. Be prepared to drive around and look for a spot. There are parking garage around the block because Bar-Ly is located right across from the convention center and diagonal from Reading terminal.This is definitely a to-go place if you and your group would like to find a place to chill or gather to watch a sport game. Not only do they have their own bar, but also have a wide variety of food on their menu! Running from Viet cuisine to sushi to pizza and wings! The vibe is just energetic once you step your foot in, especially during a sport game like the Superbowl! But I would suggest make early reservations during those big game nights. There is also a party room available for guests to book for a party.Food & Drinks: I tried their wings with mango habanero sauce, salmon pizza, and one of their drink with lychee and ginger beer that I can’t recall right off my head. The drink was pretty good. Salmon pizza was wonderful. The wings, on the other hand, I feel are a bit too dry and not enough sauce. Everything else was definitely not bad at all.“

“I've read plenty of great reviews and I have friends who tell me about the wings.. I have to say that the wings are the best that are out there ! They are twice the size of any other wings that I've eaten.. even if you bought them at the market and made them yourself. Even the blue cheese was thick and tasty.The chicken cheesesteak was good..a little salty but good . In all fairness I'm a beef guy .“

“On March 9 we hosted a baby shower for my daughter on the patio at Jerzees. Even though the weather outside was terrible, we were completely comfortable and warm inside the patio. Everybody commented on how delicious the food was. We had the penne à la vodka, pizza, chicken fingers, and Caesar salad. The service was great. Our server, Bella, did a top-notch job. It was a crowd of 30+ people, and no one was ever without a drink or her excellent service. I would highly recommend Jerzees patio for small events. And the price was very reasonable, too. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.“

“There wasn't much room and we were just about to leave, but the waitress Azra immediately accompanied us. We drank Watermelon mint, she did her job quickly and was very friendly. I feel like there are many restaurants in Philly, and this one deserves more attention. We were day-tripping Philly and enjoy seeking out the local Irish pubs. We were charmed by the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere! It was noisy and small, in a fun and happy way. The TWO bars were well-stocked. We came with the family and everyone was pleased. We started with the Parmesan Truffle French Fries and they were exemplary especially paired with the Aeoli. The blackened Grouper sandwich was "sublime" according to my son who works at a restaurant! My daughter didn't prefer the crust thinness of the flatbread, but enjoyed the potatoe soup. The Irish fare was well done. My son ordered the shepard's pie and my husband and I both ordered the beef stew. I am picky of "Irish Food" bc so many places do not give it the attention it deserves, but everything was prepared beautifully. If you like very rich, decadent broths and hearty, meaty portions, then the stew is for you. The bread it was served with was unbelievably flavorful and had a tender center and crusty exterior. The stew tasted like it had slow-cooked for hours and did not dissapoint. I ordered the "Tullamore Gold" cocktail and it was a tad sweet, but flavorful. I wish I had paired a red wine or whisky with the stew. My husband had a canned apple cider which was tasty.“

“We were in town for a concert on Friday night and stayed up on 4th near Arch. We found ourselves walking down to South Street, and did no pre-visit research on where to go. A lot of places are shut down, probably victims of the pandemic. We walked along the street and found Wooly Mammoth, figured it was time to stop. We'd already had dinner, so I can't speak to the menu but stuff being brought out to other patrons at the bar looked good. If you like wings and fries and tots and stuff to go with your beer, you're at the right spot. I'm a fan of craft beer so I like to try the locals. I don't need bud light or sam adams when I'm visiting a city with actual local brewing. We'd been to Yards the day before and I found that the only draught beer they had which I'd never had was Stacy's Mom from Evil Genius. Then I fell back on an old favorite of Magic Hat #9 (classic).We switched to the cider they had (can't recall what it was named) and enjoyed the Islanders vs. Flyers, and the 90s mix the bartender had running on Spotify. Good vibe for us, we're 90s music kids. the vibe felt honest and local, like actual people from this actual neighborhood actually come into this spot. That's always a good sign. Left around midnight to walk back to the hotel. Really good time here at Wooly Mammoth!“

“I had the scallops which were perfect with potatoes and green beans which were delicious but my potatoes were not warm. Had a side Caesar which looked like a large Caesar dressing and lettuce were fresh and cold. I haven’t had dinner in there in a long time but I remembered it was always good used to go for all u can eat spaghetti and clams or mussels a must try hidden gem to enjoy a nice dinner“

“Introduction:This was my second time coming to this particular location.Welcome:The hostess was nice and sat us immediately.Experience:We had a great waiter. She came to our table shortly after we sat down to get the drink orders and appetizers. We needed some clarity on some items on the menu and she took her time explaining and giving her recommendation based on what she had and what other guest ordered.Ambiance:It was clean, dim lighting, and spacious.Appetizer/Meal:For our appetizer we ordered Tex Mex nachos with our chicken, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapenos on the side, and fully loaded cheese fries (no bacon). The nachos were good but the amount of chicken given to put on the nachos was a skimpy. I asked why was it so little *chicken and I was told that is the standard amount. The fries were good but some were burnt at the tips. For my entree I had the Atlantic salmon, cilantro rice, and Caesar salad. My food was very good. My son had the Atlantic salmon, mac n cheese, and baked potato. He said he liked his food and he couldn't eat it all. My sister loved the chicken pesto ravioli ( I had this when I came before and yes it is delicious).*the chicken in the picture is the portion (untouched) we were given.Price:The quality/quantity of food (except the chicken for the nachos) was worth the price.Will return: Yes, I will return because overall their food and service is good but I would probably get the chicken on the nachos instead of on the side.Stars: Five stars overall despite the nacho issue.Tip: If you are one to get cold easily ask to sit away from the door during the winter months.“

“Got there after a tour of the penitentiary across the street, for a quick drink before dinner. We sat at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was good, considering it was a monday at 5! We were a bit hungry and ordered the sprouts from the happy hour menu, and they were warm, tasty and very well seasoned. Great small selection of draft beers, cocktails and hard liquor. Didnt try the mains but seemed good too.“

“Honestly this is a lil hood bar that you have have a good time in. It's across the st from the police station so i feel safe. Some of the bartenders are nice and there is one who is a mean thing omg. Anyway this day my shrimp was gross the beading beneath the fried part was not good. But baby the fried Buffalo chicken wings (fried hard) never fails. The lady in the kitchen knows what's she's doing when it comes to that and they even let you get all flats. I've yet to dine in, so can't comment on the staff other than they're mostly female & very easy on the eyes, lol.Parking: It's street parking at 18th n Moyamensing so there are so many factors regarding parking. But if you're a South Philly native you already know what it's hittin for. But all in all parking shouldn't be an issue. “Last minute dinner choice, and it did not disappoint! Wait, it was about 1/2 hours, so we sat at the bar and watched the Baltimore game! The bartender was friendly and made sure we were happy. Husband ordered prime rib, and I ordered an eggplant parm dinner special. Prime rib was HUGE and served with broccoli and baked potato. Even Mike, our bartender, said how big the piece was! Husband said it was delicious! Flavored perfectly! Eggplant was served with linguine - and the perfect amount. I prefer my eggplant sliced thin and with no skin. However, this was delicious! I ate the entire meal! It was served with 4 thin pieces of garlic bread! Added a few Blue Moon beverages, and it was a perfect night! In addition to all the regular seats and a full bar area, there’s an arcade in the back and an area for axe throwing!Food presentation seems to be “cleaner” than other similar places. Their menu is on the shorter side, but it covers all the staples. My only criticism is about their soda glasses—way too small, only 8 oz, and the coke tasted really flat tonight.“

“Went out for lunch during the week and it was a very good time. Started off with a humongous Bavarian Pretzel that came with brown mustard and a very delicious cheese sauce that I couldn’t stop myself from dipping my other food into. The French fries were freshly cut and very delicious and stole some of the table mates sweet potato fries which were even more delicious. Personally, I got the chicken sandwich that came with fresh cabbage and pickles that they laid a beautiful pieces of chicken on. The sauce was super good too, I wish I had asked for a little cup of it to dip my fries and sandwich in. It was that good! It came on ciabatta bread with the top bun having broiled American white cheese on. Wish I substituted the ciabatta for a brioche bun but it was still delicious. Friends said that their impossible burgers were tasty and delicious as well. Only wish that I was there during an Eagles game it would have been it amazing!Vegetarian options: Impossible burger was delicious.“
