“I grew up on homemade Middle Eastern food made daily by my parents, so I’m very picky when it comes to authenticity. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. “This might be the best date spot in the Philadelphia suburbs. The food is absolutely delicious … my wife and I feel like we are eating in the Mediterranean.

The menu is a little overwhelming but the arctic char, salmon, and branzino are absolutely incredible and the mezze appetizers are always so fresh and tasty.

Service could be a little faster, but hard to complain! Love this place!“

The chef (owner) greeted our party, provided a brief description of the menu and his concept, and gave us his recommendations. The melintzana, the mediterranean duo, and the meatbolls were great to share. I shared the Paella for two which tasted fresh and authentic. The chef's touch on traditional mediterranean dishes kept true to their origin and added a welcomed personalized flare. We are looking forward to dine there again.“

“The food here is delicious! We tried the Oxtail with fried rice and mac, the Salmon & Shrimp Rasta Pasta, and the Sweet Chili Wings with fries and every single dish held such great flavor. The oxtail was so tender it literally fell off the bone, easily one of the highlights of the meal. Next time, we’re definitely trying the Oxtail Rasta Pasta.“

“We were very excited to try yet another of the Shulson Collective. Entering the space only made us more so, as it is spectacular. Execution was not up to the standards we are used to from this group. Does it really take 20 minutes to deliver a diet coke? The Mezzes and apps were very good (particularly like the beet spread). The kebabs were not. Lamb was excellent. Chicken was good, salmon was undercooked. We will, however try again. I will chalk the service up to newness and maybe the specific server.“

“I was visiting Villanova and a good friend brought me to Nova Grill. The owner was over the top nice and accommodating. His Greek Hospitality did shine. Instantly felt like a regular. The place was spotless and well set up. All cleanliness and proper measure were followed perfectly. The food was plentiful, cooked and presented well and hot ( often forgot these days). “Good, fairly priced Israeli food place. The owner is very nice and shared the correct pronunciation of sabich to me once. The place is good for a quick meal and outing with fellow grad students bc they can take care of different diet preferences. I have taken almost all my friends here.

Sampled the weekend brunch menu, Moroccan eggs, crab benedict, French toast and the spinach quiche. All dishes were delicious. “The flavor is on point!! No denying that. But, if you want a better value for your $, then I'd recommend PITA CHIP... ESPECIALLY FOR THE LAMB!! Naya's lamp is a beef & lamb meatball, however Pita Chip you get actual cubes of Lamb. In a wrap, you also can get a variety of hummas and rice. Pita's wraps are bigger (more meat and as much toppings as you'd like. NAYA is great value for Bowls and the are heavy handed with Chicken portions“
