“Walking in here is like walking back in time. It's a super cozy restaurant, kind of like the feel of Grandma's house. Food...AMAZING. One price for an entree included soup, salad, entree and dessert. Portions are generous. My Delmonico steak was perfectly cooked, the onion soup was very rich and flavorful, and the strawberry shortcake was homemade and the perfect ending to my delicious dinner. Service was super friendly and attentive. It does get busy on the weekends, so be sure to make a reservation if that is when you are planning to visit. And trust me...you want to visit!“

“What a cool place! Our 1st time there and love the vibe. The service was great even though the place was full. Their soups were delicious, the truffle honey ricotta was yummy. The veal schnitzel portion was big enough to take 1/2 home for another meal. The steak filet wasn't to die for so I'd guess it was choice or even select vs a true prime steak or I'd have given them a 5 star. The table next to us ordered the special (grilled fish with crab stuffing) and that looked amazing. We'll definitely be going back.“

“SO GOOD! It's a small cafe with seating inside, but I ordered take out. I got the meat stromboli, and it was full of flavor and I even had leftovers. I even got non-vegans to eat the buffalo and bbq wings and they liked them! Highly suggest this place, especially in an area where there aren't that many vegan options / restaurants.“

“We were greeted and seated immediately. Our table had crab cakes, grilled chicken, fried chicken and a seafood platter. The crab cakes were delicious and I believe better than some of our higher end restaurants.On another visit we had the lobster special and liver platter. The lobster is steamed perfectly and delicious. The liver was covered in onions and bacon along with a brown gravy.Great comfort food at any time of day.“

“The waitress we had was Patty. She was an absolute delight. knowledgeable of the menu and made you feel at home. She didn't rush you and encouraged you to enjoy each course thoughtfully spacing each out. She was pleasantly conversational as well. To start we were invited to try sourdough bread basket with a Salted Carmel butter that had a sweet and savory unforgettable taste. As for the appetizers, the Lobster chowder was amply filled with seafood and delectible herbs and vegetables. the Calamari was tender and melt in your mouth accompanied by a Sriracha sauce with a slight kick. Our entrées were the French onion encrusted Delmonico steak grilled to perfection and the Colossal crab stuffed flounder both accompanied with fresh sautéed green beans, rice pilaf with the steak and mashed potatoes with the fish. Incredibly prepared and presented. For dessert we enjoyed a homemade Creme Brulee and Cherry Cheesecake that was sinful. 10/10 Highly recommended worth the trip and reasonably priced. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is relaxing.“

“When my Jeep grenaded it’s serpentine belt I pulled into the owners lot where I was greeted by Don and Vicky, they looked at my car, insisted I come in to stay warm and even gave me a few pints to take the sting of breaking down away! I was told that they have very good buffalo wings so I ordered some. They have the best wings in town. My friend asked me to try a bite of her plate and I did and it was super good. The French onion soup was honestly really delicious. It was so flavorful and not overly loaded with onions. It was a perfect soup. The old forge pizza was really good, I'm not the biggest fan personally of PA pizza but this one was pretty tasty. The burger looked and tasted amazing. It was cooked perfectly and was ginormous. Mike made the meal that much better with his great attitude even tho you can tell this dude was definitely exhausted after an insanely long work weekend. “Once again food followers I am at a place in Pittston called Canteen Central. The last time I was at this establishment they were on Market Street in Kingston. Now I ordered the Canteen Classic Cheeseburger which comes with lettuce tomato pickle cheese and chipotle mayo. It was a nice size burger, hot and juicy. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about chipotle mayo but that turned out to be really good also enhancing the taste of the burger with the other toppings and ingredients. You have your choice of side salad (house) or chips. I took the salad. They make their own balsamic vinegar dressing. Me not liking salads this was good, maybe because I asked for extra dressing. I also ordered their truffle Parm fries, I don't know how to really describe this other then really good and interesting. They serve both breakfast and lunch all day. We ordered honey hot, and Irish gold mild wings (so good, perfect amount of crisp), the Black Friday wrap was SOOOO GOOD we inhaled it Lol. The Irish nachos were yummy but perhaps could use more cheesy goodness. Last but absolutely not least the cheeseburger pizza was super awesome.
