“My husband and I didn't know this place was here till today, but we are so glad we found it! The Farmer's Latte was excellent and I always appreciate having milk substitutes! The Arepas were delicious and very filling! Service staff are very kind; we will definitely be back!“

“Again, it's Starbucks. Not a lot changes from store to store except for the availability of ingredients. Staff is friendly during the very brief interaction. Drinks come out relatively quickly. Only issue is when folks take other folks drinks by mistake. Not really anything that can be done but the baristas make up for it. We noticed this happening during our last visit but, in this particular case, the customer took an identical drink but bigger size mistakenly. "Mistakenly" as you can never tell as each person orders different items but I could see this being exploited by a group of friends often.“

“i visited this place the day after four chord festival in July during that insane heat wave. needless to say, I was extremely dehydrated and needed SOMETHING. “Just tried this place for the first time today with a friend who has been before. Awesome hole in the wall type of place, decorated with awesome artwork and vintage star wars collectibles. Music was choice. I was happy when Weird Fishes by RadioHead started playing. The person working told me the name of the radio station that he plays, which I didn't quite catch, but he was very kind. Got a great cold brew with almond milk and lavender syrup. And I tried my first Banh Mi Sandwich that happened to be the vegan tofu variety. When I tell you it an explosion of fresh flavors and textures. So delicious and refreshing on a hot day. Savored every bite. My friend got her usual BLT with vegan bacon, which she loves. We were talking about how normally bread feels like a waste of calories when it is not that good. But even the bread was devine ciabata. Haha, definitely this place out!“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

And I got a lavender iced matcha (my favorite!)

“Been in Oakland for a few years and Sidecar is my go-to cafe for myself and to meet up with friends. The food is phenomenal, their baked goods are perfection, and the drinks are delicious. Special shout out to the barista Em for making some of the best coffees I’ve ever had and always having great drink recommendations and such cheerful, professional customer service. The entire place is decorated so cutely with their signature mugs and wall art (please start selling the mugs!) and their iconic mirror wall. I recommend Sidecar whenever a friend mentions they want to get coffee, and I always recommend the Pittsburgh Smog tea and cinnamon rolls.“

“Potomac station is a great little corner coffee shop. The coffee is made properly and the pastries and paninis are made there. Try the Mayan Mocha and the pumpkin cinnamon rolls. I highly recommend it. Andrew runs a tight ship.

“This is an awesome place to get boba! It’s definitely quite far from my usual takeout places, but definitely worth the drive every once in a while. It’s locally owned and the prices are some of the best around. I decided to try out their pineapple milk tea.

The drink was very tasty and refreshing. It’s got that hint of creaminess from the milk, but still tastes quite light. The portion is fantastic; much larger than most places. The pineapple flavor really shines through, too. Quite sweet. And, the bobs is very fresh. They have several options for pearls, but the classic definitely hits the spot.

All in all, I really liked this place. It’s one of the best boba shops I’ve tried in a while. Definitely recommend the milk teas.

“I’m actually mad at myself for discovering this place so late. I have to say this is probably going to become my number one spot to work from. The reasons are pretty clear.
Space is extremely large, and there are multiple types of seating where you can work solo or with a group. There is free Wi-Fi as well as plug points.
The coffee is delicious and they have Vietnamese coffee, which is one of my favourites.
The banh-mi was delicious and although not entirely traditional, it was extremely tasty.
Everyone was becoming and nice. Will be back again for sure.“
