“It can be a bit dirty some times, tables not getting cleaned fast enough, trash cans full.... BUT I would like to point out that this is at very very busy/rush times and it makes sense that the staff is busy with the flow of customers coming and going and so the tables simultaneously getting used and trash is getting full at a fast rate. I only mention this because it can be off-putting, but it is understandable and it's NOT horrible.“

“First time at Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant in Robinson Pa. Had wonderful time. Great atmosphere! Food was on point and tasty. Pricing was good. Absolutely loved the table side quacamole and ceviche. Me and my wife Sheronne will definitely be back soon!“

“Mezcal Cantina is hands down my go-to spot for Mexican food in Pittsburgh. The tacos are consistently amazing, and the margaritas are always on point. My personal favorite is the Quesabirria tacos, they’re incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seriously satisfying every time. On top of that, the service is always great, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a place with great food, drinks, and service, this is it!“

“We were at a softball tournament, I searched for nearby Mexican cuisine and this place popped up as the closest. We rolled in after some games with 12 people. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Our food was delicious and came out so quick. It was a great dining experience and I plan on stopping back in when we are in the area.“

“While in Pittsburgh for a conference, I came across this place with the groups of ladies I was with. The food was AMAZING!!! I have been dreaming of the roasted carrot taco ever since! My husband asked to plan a trip to Pittsburgh next year for the NFL draft- I only agreed because he promised me we could eat at this restaurant! Looking forward to that a year from now!!!“

“Overall was good when I visited. They did get my meat wrong though as I had asked for steak and was given chicken. I didn’t want to food waste so I told them I would eat the chicken if they were just going to toss it out but they could’ve given me a partial refund or even just an extra sope with the steak since it was their mistake and not mine.
Really small space so best if you’re grabbing takeaway or just solo for a quick meal alone.“

“The assistant manager Gabriel is the most kind and caring man; he exceeds expectations of a restaurant manager by a long shot! This modern Mexican restaurant showboats Mexican pride, while having more than reasonable prices. Food was cooked perfectly and quickly, it felt like we just ordered. I cannot recommend this place enough; the delicious margaritas are an added bonus too. Nothing but positive vibes over here! Huge shout out to our server Fran for being so great with my toddler! He went the extra mile engaging with my child, to the point of my son smiling and giggling every time he came back.“

“Wow, WOW, WOW!!!!!! There are no words to describe the incredible time and food I had at this place. It’s so sad I’m not from the area, otherwise this would DEFINITELY be my go-to place! The waitress, Poppy, was incredible—always happy and with a beautiful smile. Chef Sam brought out a special, very delicious hot sauce. Definitely a 10/10“

“A group of 8 went to celebrate Galentine's. The service was amazing. They checked on us frequently to make everything was good. They played birthday song for someone else and notice we sang and were wishing happy birthday to someone at our table. Boom they brought the hat, a dessert and played the music again for us. We had a memorable evening. Esther was our wait staff I believe. Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for making our Valentine's fabulous!“

“My family (8 children of all ages and 8 adults) were at the location tonight when they seemingly had everything working against them due to breakdowns in the kitchen and other issues. I witnessed other patrons grow frustrated because of these uncontrollable breakdowns and blame those that had no control of the situation. But above all, I witnessed staff that “took the punches” and pushed forward. Our server went above and beyond to explain the scenario, assure us that they could still serve us, and made sure we were taken care of even through visibly being stressed and overwhelming. On top of that Management was professional and apologetic. I’ve dined at your location before but tonight I commend you all for pushing through and will definitely return.“

“Stopped in yesterday for lunch and some margaritas. Been there a few times before and let me tell you. It was the best chimichanga I’ve had by far!. The food was so delicious. The margaritas are delicious also hand muddled fruit and the bartender we had was very nice. We had a very nice girls day out!!“

“We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“
