We just had the strangest menu selections and did you change the interior of the Barn? It was perfect the way it was. You offer Chilean sea bass but the breeches is filled with trout yet don’t offer it? I can hear Gordon Ramseys voice in my head asking you guys why you don’t have something local and fresh. I’m no connoisseur, but meat/poultry/fish is best when sourced locally. A bit disappointed by this last visit. Will be back, because you’re a staple, but maybe not the time after next. We’ll see.“

“I have been going to Wolfe's Diner since 1968, and it has been about 5 years since my last visit and the service, and food was excellent. It was great being there and even played some music with the jukebox at the table! The chicken & rice soup, chicken croquettes and the salad with bacon dressing were excellent, and so was the pumpkin pie! I will be back in the morning for breakfast.“

But I wanted to make sure I give a shout out to our server, Jennie. It is Saturday, November 8th, 2025, and she was our server and she was amazing. She made sure we had everything we need and even anticipated things before we even asked. She was personable and friendly and cheerful, even in the midst of a busy Saturday night dinner rush.

Whoever is in charge of the wait staff, she needs a raise. I mean, seriously. She exceeded all our expectations and then some. Take care of this lady, she's a treasure“

Loved the deviled eggs and both steaks (medallions and wagyu steak) were excellent and cooked exactly-as-ordered. Sides were excellent, particularly enjoyed the cheese sauce on the potato. Prices VERY reasonable for what you got. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive but without feeling 'rushed'. We did not get the 'only 2 hours' dictum others have mentioned... but c'mon folks - two hours is plenty and it's reasonable they need to 'turn tables' at that point. Thankfully they were happy to move our table due to someone in the next booth whose mommy never taught him to use his 'inside voice'... though we do hope the latest ointment helps him with that rash. It is definitely a 'restaurant that happens to be in a hotel' rather than a 'hotel restaurant.'“

“Nice open restuarant with live music on Fridays, which was very enjoyable. Also side rooms to chat more privately but still have the ambiance of live music. Enjoyed the 2- dip fry tower and award winning beer. I loved that you could get the small sampler sizes as you wanted, not forced to have a flight of 4. The waitress was patient and attentive, as we had quite a long dinner catching up as old friends!“

It was our first time there and she explained the menu very patiently to us. As we came in and left, all the staff greeted us and you don’t get that experience very often in most restaurants. The restaurant was also very clean. All the sushi rolls we ordered were delicious and the mango mochi was a great dessert to finish with. “Me and my daughter came here for an early dinner. We shared the pretzels and cheese. They were ok the cheese temperature was on the colder side of it was hot it would had been a better experience. She had the chicken pot pie and I have the cottage we shared. They were very good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The music was very loud and hard to talk over, and also they had the football game on and people yelling, idk that was on in the dining area thought that was only car area. Food was 9/10 and service 10/10“

Our son, who has autism, became overstimulated during our visit, and instead of making us feel uncomfortable, they stood by us with so much patience and reassurance. They told us not to worry, which truly meant a lot. I got emotional because being in public can sometimes be difficult, but they made sure we felt it was completely OK.
