We just had the strangest menu selections and did you change the interior of the Barn? It was perfect the way it was. You offer Chilean sea bass but the breeches is filled with trout yet don’t offer it? I can hear Gordon Ramseys voice in my head asking you guys why you don’t have something local and fresh. I’m no connoisseur, but meat/poultry/fish is best when sourced locally. A bit disappointed by this last visit. Will be back, because you’re a staple, but maybe not the time after next. We’ll see.“

“4/27/2025 Earl Bancroft, blue cooler, I had 3 meals the last three evenings while attending spring Carlisle. Each meal was very good and an outstanding value. These folks prep and cook with fresh ingredients as if they are feeding family! The fact that they allow carry in beer/wine didn’t hurt either. Don’t miss out, give this place a try!!“

Last week we had their pizza for the first time and we are now having it for the third time in a week. It’s a problem! “Gave a 24 hr notice for 25 people. We arrived and the seating was reserved and marked easily to find. Service was quick. Food orders were prepared as per request. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend visiting here for a delicious lunch or dinner. Family friendly. Off street parking. Plenty of seating! But I wanted to make sure I give a shout out to our server, Jennie. It is Saturday, November 8th, 2025, and she was our server and she was amazing. She made sure we had everything we need and even anticipated things before we even asked. She was personable and friendly and cheerful, even in the midst of a busy Saturday night dinner rush.

Whoever is in charge of the wait staff, she needs a raise. I mean, seriously. She exceeded all our expectations and then some. Take care of this lady, she's a treasure“

Brent was super personable and made the whole experience really easy. They cleaned up the food us and gave everyone good sized portions. There was definitely no one going home hungry. “We were seated in a quiet room, then a huge party arrived. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The server was not very attentive however I believe she was trying to service the entire restaurant. She never came back to see if we need anything or refills. My husband had the Prime Rib which was excellent however they gave him a butter knife to cut the meat, that didn't work out too well. I had the Beef Stroganoff and our friends had Salmon and Prime Rib. They said there's was good also. Overall, we had a nice evening and will return again.“

“First time at Wolf Brewing for 4 people. We were making g a night of it, ordered appetizers(2) and they came to the table immediately followed by servers with our main course. In hindsight we should have sent the appetizers back and asked to have removed from the bill. My husband ordered a burger with no cheese and it came with cheese. They apologized and it came back to the table with the cheese scraped off. Bits of cheese were still visible. The food was delicious but the organization and customer satisfaction lacked attention. Not sure if we will be back.“

“Al’s Pizza in Carlisle is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of life. The staff went above and beyond with their service friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed.

The food was outstanding! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell they put real pride into what comes out of the kitchen.

What made the experience even better was talking with the owner. He was genuinely incredible to chat with personable, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about both the food and the people who come in. “My Husband and I had a wonderful experience today thanks to our waitress, Kiki, and the store manager, Michelle. They were both so kind and welcoming to my family. Our son, who has autism, became overstimulated during our visit, and instead of making us feel uncomfortable, they stood by us with so much patience and reassurance. They told us not to worry, which truly meant a lot. I got emotional because being in public can sometimes be difficult, but they made sure we felt it was completely OK. The service was excellent our food was delicious, everything came out promptly, and they were quick to bring us to-go containers when we needed them. I can’t thank Kiki and Michelle enough for their compassion and outstanding service. They made this dining experience special for us, and we will definitely be coming back!“

“Best tuna salad sub I've had in a very long time. SUPERB fresh baked roll. Not hard crust! I don't eat much bread anymore but, that was mmmmmm good. Tony's chicken or veal Piccata is my favorite entree' there. Lobster raviolli is my 2nd place entree'. Go enjoy a great dinner at this well priced great service establishment.“

“We were in town for 1 night and we had our pups with us. We saw they were dog friendly and sat outside. The blacked salmon tacos were fantastic and beer selection is extensive. Hubby had fish and chips and he liked them. The service was good. Atmosphere outside was fine. Only complaint was that the street is super busy so it can be loud, but nothing the bar can do about that.“

“Highly recommend. soup portions are easily 2x what others serve. Jess was our server and she was fabulous. Best crab cakes ive had in Pa. Maryland crab soup is my all time favorite. Their frozen drinks are insanely good too. Will definitely be back.“
