There is a small wait after 6 pm, but the cooking staff are fast, and the woman at the front is a wizard. She cooks, answers phones, yells at the guys on occasion, and moves like LIGHTNING!

“This place is amazing. We got the veggie lo mein, crab rangoons, and general tso’s chicken combo. Every thing tasted absolutely flawless and was cooked to perfection (and boiling hot!) The rangoons are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Panda Express doesn’t even hold a candle to any of this amazing food. Not to mention, we got basically a soup-bowl-sized serving of sweet & sour sauce without asking. The general tso’s chicken was so crispy and saucy, and rice not overcooked or undercooked but just right. The lo mein was delicious and the veggies clearly cooked well. I have no complaints.

This place is meant for takeout, but the food was so good that it gets 5 stars all around for me even though we didn’t eat there and the inside was small. This business deserves your dollars, and your stomach will thank you!“

“Tried a dozen places since we moved here 8 months ago. This is the first place we found with normal looking fried rice (Brown and white fried with char spots and multi colored) and not the all yellow rice. This was clearly cooked fresh, tastes fresh, will return.“

“We dined in here for the first time on a Friday night. Service was great despite the phone ringing off the hook. Food came out at perfect increments. Everything was delicious, hot and you could tell it was all fresh. Portions were big for the prices. Cannot wait to come back!“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “Ok this review is in 2 parts.1st: I can only say the meal that was prepared was spot on. The General Tso Chicken and steamed dumplings were fantastic with just enough spice and heat that I can only wish other Chinese restaurants could replicate.2nd: Because I'm only visiting the area for work and not a local, I really felt I was on the wrong side of the tracks where this restaurant was located. And I visited during the daylight hours.Will I order again..... sure. It was that tasty.“

“This is pretty much the only place i eat at this mall. For me the price is very reasonable and usually they have something i always enjoy. The spicy fried tofu (w/Veggies & Lo Main) is always great and my go-to when I want a filling snack.
I wish I could give bonus stars simply for the wonderful woman working the register today (9/1/24, roguhly 1 pm). She was amazingly friendly! While I patiently waited for my meal I noticed every customer who came into here (including myself!) was acknowledged and greeted, she made sure to ask if orders were correct double checking and all, and would always find something to compliment or have that moment of a quick impression/connection and making someone's day that much better. Not one person left without a smile. Someone like that is a very rare gift in the food industry. I wish I could give her a proper shout-out, but I never got her name!“

Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“I went about 2 months ago hadn't been there in years for chitterlings.
We ordered a bucket that was $200 it was worth it. The same way I used to just bring them home and cook them a little longer with the seasonings you like. They were clean so I didn't have to do all that hard work. My chitterlings were perfect“

“We got sesame chicken and sweet & sour chicken both with pork fried rice. The sesame chicken was crisp with just enough sauce and the sweet & sour chicken was so crunchy! The rice is flavorful with tender bits of pork and chunks of onion that were the perfect texture. The shrimp and pork rolls were golden brown and I wish I got more honestly. First time going; I heard about it from a friend at work. I definitely plan on going back and trying more!“

“I’ve been coming here for 10+ years at this point. The food, the service has been consistent and amazing for those many years.
I came in today just to grab some lunch. When I was younger I would come to the mall every day damn near and for years I came to China Express for a meal. Today was no different. Still some of the best mall Chinese food I’ve ever had.

“The best fried rice I have ever had!!! I always order the same thing. I order 4 wings with fried rice add egg. Their rice comes with onion only(no veggies) -which is perfect for me because that's the way I like it. When I tell you that rice is something to talk about, hunnyyyy!!!! I'm not a dry rice eating person AT ALL. I ALWAYS need some type of gravy or the sauce from my beans over ANY rice I eat. Not this rice!! This rice (and wings) is perfect as is. It doesn't need soy, duck, hot sauce, ketchup(wings). All you need is a fork. Seasoned just right. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it but they're closed today 😒 I've had their shrimp lo mein, beef rib tips and egg foo young and my son gets the general tsos and they were all yummy as well“

“Prices are a little high but overall the food is pretty good. Lunch special prices are great but outside of that orders can get very expensive very quick if ordering multiple things. Definitely call and order, don't use the online ordering cause the fee is ridiculous, like you could order an entire additional pint of anything on the menu with what you'll save calling in your order. General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.

“4 stars based off of portion size...and fresh chicken and rice...Nice sized portions... The general and sesame chicken was tender and cooked perfectly.. not overcooked at all... Tasted a little bland in flavor... So could have used just a little more sauce... Other than that they tasted alright... The pork fried rice... Was good... You can tell it was actually fresh for once... The chicken lo mein noodles... Were a little sticky... But they were edible and ok... The egg roll I believe may have been stale or refried... Im not sure.. but it tasted like grease... And we just trashed those.. they were no good... The homemade teas were sweet and delicious...I guess I would recommend this spot.. but honestly im not even sure... This may be a hit or miss type of spot... Good luck“

“I can’t lie. The exterior of the building is a bit intimidating. However, the vegetable eggrolls were immaculate. I haven’t had eggrolls like that since I moved and I had a vegetable soup which was freshly made, and it was delicious. Also, I had a vegetable lo mein very well seasoned and sauced well. “Best Fried Rice! It’s actually fried…not yellow rice! The fried rice is old school! This yellow rice crap has conditioned people into thinking that’s fried rice and it’s not! The general tos chicken is amazing! The Sesame chicken is crazy good! They literally give you two fresh chicken breasts. Especially if you get the white meat version. The Mongolian Beef is probably one of the most tastiest and tender beef you’ve ever tried! This is our go to spot for Chinese, it’s a little pricey but Real Chinese isn’t cheap! You actually get quality here. The Lo Mein & Singapore Noodles are also amazing!!! I don’t know what most of these other reviewers are expecting but maybe their used to the slop houses lol.“

I usually get sushi from them, But today was the first time i've ever tried a bento box, And let me say they did a great job!! Everything was absolutely delicious! I got the chicken teriyaki with white rice 2 Spring rolls.2 chicken dumplings a 4 piece, California roll and a small salad. It was enough for 2 meals, and again it was spot on! Will be getting more bento boxes in the future!“

The chicken in the chicken-fried-rice tasted like REAL chicken. I could taste all the vegetables in my Shrimp with Chinese vegetables dish. “Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first tiime today after patronizing Price Rite and Dollar Magic. I wanted something quick, fast and tasty. I decided on egg rolls. I ordered the shrimp and spring rolls. They were delicious, however I feel that the wait was a little too long. My total was $5.57 and I paid in cash. Shrimp egg roll was $2.00 and the two spring rolls were $3.25. I ate them fast in the car. I had a good experience here today. I almost missed the place. It is easy to miss. It is on the right side of the Secane Post Office. They have chairs to sit while you are waiting for your food. Have a good night Google Family, be healthy, Fit and Fabulous!!!!
