“I've been coming here since I was young since I grew up in Bridgeport. I will forever compare other Chinese food to China Star as nothing is the same! Whenever I am in town visiting, I make sure to stop here. I always get chicken wings with fries but everything here is so good.“

“After getting food poisoning from Great Wall, I found Rice House. They have the absolute most incredible and fresh food. I highly recommend getting their coconut chicken, honey chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, their duck sauce is the best. Their portions are very generous and they have lunch specials up until 3 PM every day. My daughter and I absolutely love this restaurant and the owners are so sweet. “Tried takeout today for the first time and everything was delicious. This is more of a takeout place since the vibe is very basic, but there are a few tables for eat-in. I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I've had elsewhere and not as thick as usual--i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!“

“Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

“My family and I 5 generations have enjoyed your food over the years. From my granny (who has now past) my mother, myself, my children, and now their children. The food is always fresh, tasty and having moved down south trips back up North include a 30 - 40 min drive from New Jersey. Love the family, when we come for food we often talk about our children as we are in the same age group and update on the new things. Visiting soon will be making a trip over.“

“Little Basil has become our go to place for carry out Chinese food near Broomall! Love the food and the woman who always hands me the order is wonderful. They also accommodate our request for minimal/low/no salt, which is important for our health restrictions.

“I have lived in 4 towns and tried many Chinese takeout. This place is literally the best Chinese food I've ever had. I drive 30 miles for their sesame chicken with wonton soup. Great deal and the wonton are the size of your fist and you get two. They also delivered to me in 12in of snow in 2014. I felt terrible for asking but they saved me when I had no food for days. You will not regret it.“

“Angie Baker is full of it dude, idk never once had an issue in 8+ years, never once caught a stray order, the worst that ever happened to us with our meticulous instructions is that they gave us the wrong soda, and when I let them know they told us to keep it, brought us the correct one. “This business just so happens to have some of the better food and cleanliness in comparison to the other options that are in that specific neighborhood. Again (Compared to the other neighborhood options) Employee does round off prices/ totals to the nearest dollar and has made up prices a few times.Also the one lady who normally takes the food orders is just not nice or good with the way she handles what could be seen as a small issue, no matter how pleasant the patron is communicating the issue at hand, the woman seems to handle it poorly, even tossing someone’s “order” to the other end of the serving glass door and the persons change, while yelling things out. The usual demeanor of this woman is usually, impatient and slightly irritable. (I say this knowing what it is to work in customer service for many years and with all walks of life.)To keep it simple, she gets pretty disrespectful when it’s not called for and I’ve seen it firsthand and dealt with it myself but I do well at not entertaining ignorance. “We moved and needed to find a new Chinese restaurant. We tried another one in the area first that was not good, ended throwing some of it away. Then we tried China King! Three years later, and they've never disappointed us. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious no matter if it's takeout or delivery. “Omg it’s hard finding a good Chinese spot to eat at. But when I tell you I haven’t had general tos in sooo long and not every place can make it good.. China Wok did just that! My general tos was very delicious and so fresh down to the broccoli ! The rice was amazing as well! I would definitely recommend that dish along with cheesesteak egg roll and the homemade ice tea ! “I've been going to China King for twenty plus years. It's a traditional neighborhood Chinese take-out place. I used to love their general tsos tofu - it seems to have changed hands recently so if you order lunch you get the old cook with the old (delicious) tofu but if you order dinner you get the new cook with new tofu (not as good). I will also say that the former proprietors/managers were nicer than the current ones. We still order from there fairly regularly. I have been loving the addition of Thai options which are consistently delicious (though I always ask for extra tofu because they tend to be light on protein otherwise.)“

“This is the epotimy of a dive/ hole in the wall. The food is good, I love the pork yat, a Philadelphia exclusive. The outside reminds you of a scene from a TV crime show, and don't let the nasty oozing greese omitting from their exhaust scrare you, everything we have eaten there was delicious. The inside is set up typical ghetto style, glass incased wall where you order. If they are open you are good to go!“
