“These are the most generous people I’ve ever had the privilege of ordering from in my life. I’m going through a family crisis and I’m in town for the week. I’ve been eating wawa veggie sandwiches and French fries for over a week now and I decided to treat myself to something vegan so I ordered through grubhub for the first time. I guess I accidentally ordered it to be delivered the following day. So I just called them and asked them if they were able to change the delivery time. They said sure no problem but apparently they couldn’t find a GH driver so the owner drove 20 minutes to deliver it to me and I’m honestly about to cry after the week I’ve had. They will never know how much this means to me. I am a lifelong Boardwalk Vegan fan and cannot recommend them enough!!!“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

“Came across this place in the KOP mall. Met the worker Ashley who was very nice and gave us a lot of information about what they offer as well as samples of the halva and tea. We tried Nutella and pistachio halva, both were great! The lemon/ginger tea was amazing. Bought some halva and tea to take home! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.“

“Dottie’s Donuts are the best donuts in Philadelphia. I’ll take the Pepsi Challenge to the crap they sell at Dunkin and I’d pick Dottie’s every single time. They’re quite possibly the greatest donuts in the state of Pennsylvania, which would immediately place them in the state national treasure donut contest. “What a great happy hour! The bartenders are attentive and personable. The bartender, who was serving us, made a special drink for my wife who wanted something with vodka. “We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“
