“This place consistently delivers a fantastic experience. My wife and I always have a great time whenever we visit. The bar is
the perfect size, not overwhelming but still offering a vibrant atmosphere. We especially appreciate the impressive selection of liquors and the rotating draft beer options, keeping things interesting. Only issue stems from the TV situation, particularly when trying to catch any Philly sports. The picture quality tends to be pixelated, making it difficult to watch comfortably and even causing my wife's eye strain.“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“Parkway Corner Deli is a reliable modern deli with a great selection of breakfast sandwiches, hoagies, snacks, and drinks. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite in the morning or picking up something satisfying for lunch, they’ve got you covered. The shelves are stocked with all kinds of chips and snacks, and there’s a nice variety of beers and sodas to go with your meal. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re nearby.“

“Excellent beer and food with impeccable service. I ordered a flight including blonde, session ale, West coast IPA, and brown ale. The blonde is light and crispy with a very light sweetness at the end. The session ale has the traditional bitter and hint of malt. This one finishes with what I describe as a dry tobacco finish. The west coast IPA takes me back to the great IPAs of the 2000s. This was such a treat. And the brown ale is perfectly malty. You have to love a good brown.

For food, we had the wontons with a dill sauce, Buffalo cauliflower, and a chicken sandwich. All tasty, well-prepared and quality ingredients. Excellent stop.“

“I’ve had just coffee here, and a meal as well! Very cozy spot to get schoolwork or work done. Great location, and there is usually parking out front for drivers. We highly recommend the tomato soup with grilled cheese as well as the hummus app.“

“Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.“

“I had the Bancroft beer. It was a wonderful pale ale. Great mosaic flavour and really light alcohol for the amount of body and taste. Happy hour was very reasonably priced. I got the Smashburger, and as shown in the picture, it is a hamburger nicely dressed. I don’t think it’s quite fitting into the Smashburger category as Patty is just a bit too thick and not a ton of caramelization from the actual smashing I would totally try this place again especially happy hour. The bathroom is really nice and they did have a spot that they’re obviously letting people do the graffiti on which is the door so that people don’t tag up the walls.“

“My Saturday morning running club @lezrun starts at Lloyd Hall and finishes at Cosmic Cafe with laughs and conversation over a wide assortment of beverages and generously portioned meals and snacks, either outside in nice weather or upstairs when we must. “I love this bar. The service is great! The bartenders are amazing. Especially Misty!! I made a great friend by going here on Friday afternoons when I go to meet my boyfriend on Fridays after work. We always have their food. Pork sandwiches and roast beef sandwiches are delicious. The owner is a great guy and always makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in Cherry Street!!’ I also love their music. They play all the old classics and some recent stuff as well.“
