“2nd trip here - changed up service to counter only. Order at counter, grab a table and they bring you your order. Food delicious as last time. Homemade baked goods - my wife loves their English muffins - used in their breakfast sandwiches and available for separate purchase. Sandwiches are huge. Get to Mt Oliver before summer 24 when they relocate to New Brighton. You won't be disappointed.“
“Live in Liberty Boro got a flyer in mail. Was hungry & I drive past daily, so I called & ordered for pick up. The young lady who took my order was so awesome & gave excellent advice on what was good. We ordered Spanakopita that was flakey, buttery delicious. Pita with dips was devious and was a great choice with the enormous Rodos Gyro. The Gyro had enough delicious meat to make 4 separate gyros, best I had in a long time. The olive-cheese plate had so much deliciousness. Great quality food. Best of the best. My husband had the Mike's Lamb burger & fries & he said it was fabulous. We will definitely be eating dinner here again many times! Best Gyro & Greek food in Pittsburgh. Thank you Rodos Greek Cafe. In our economy it's awesome when you get what you paid for & the quality is the best.Beckie & John Besseck“
“Independent Mediterranean Market. Nice size, good selection of Mediterranean regional foods. Olive bar, house made pitas, sandwiches to go, other regional food products.Employees were nice and very friendly. I will update this review after a couple more visits. My First visit was in Feb. 2024.“
“Very cozy place to hang out and enjoy some delicious coffee. It is my second visit to this location, and I'm in love. Very clean and organized. So far, I've tried the coconut iced latte and the peanut butter flavor as well. Both were with oat milk by choice. The coconut taste was a pleasant surprise.I enjoy sitting in the shop enjoying my coffee over a game of checkers.Highly recommend for anyone looking to support small businesses.“
“Wowza!! What a hidden gem.Six of us went here for dinner last night. It was the first visit for all of us and we were all blown away by the food. Definitely the best meal I've had in ages. Maybe the best meal I've had in Pittsburgh??? It's cozy and unassuming. The team there is very genuine and friendly. I can't wait to go back and to bring everyone I know! :)“
“What a charming little shop! So much character in the space - a collected, homey feeling, with interesting fixtures, warm colors, and lots of sunlight. I ordered an americano and raspberry turnover and both were delightful! I love that they were served in real dishes instead of paper or plastic. The service was prompt and attentive! The seating is quaint but a little uncomfortable. Will definitely return next time I'm in the neighborhood.“
“We decided to walk through the Southside down to the Highline to see what's new. We checked out the Burgers menu and then continued to De fer @ The Highline to take the chill off. Arriving around 11am, it was quiet with just the right music buzz and volume for a pleasant stay. The barrista was pleasant and set to making our cappuccinos like a real coffee shop. They were beautifully presented and delicious. The shop has a french motif but opens to a modern industrial lobby with comfy chairs, where it seems a number of small work meetings were taking place. The lobby is large, and the furniture is well spaced for privacy. The lobby has charging available for electronics. As a bonus, if you are reducing your carbon footprint, the parking garage has vehicle charging stations. We left De fer for a walk on the trail as noon approached, and the shop got busier with people coming in for snacks, salads, and cold drinks.“
“Will absolutely make multiple return visits! This place is such a hidden gem, and much more spacious inside than it appears from the street. Great coffee and food, and MUCH more affordable than expected. I parked in one of the dedicated for spots for free, then got a 12oz drip coffee with a delicious breakfast sandwich, all for less than $6. Can't wait to try out more on their menu! To top it off, the WiFi is strong for working or studying, and there are clean restrooms on-site. Happy I discovered this place!Parking: A few free spots are located next to the shop. Street parking is free in the permit parking zones according to the hours on the signs. Otherwise, paid parking can be found in the area.“
“I've eaten at Delaney's just one other time and was very happy with the food. I stopped in today for a coffee and treat. I got the almond croissant but was prepared to be disappointed. Too often, when I've purchased almond croissants elsewhere, I find that there isn't enough almond filling.Well, let me just say that I was not disappointed today! The filling went almost to the very end on both sides of the croissant and there was plenty spread all throughout. The croissant is flaky but I wouldn't have cared if it had the density of a bagel. The filling did it for me.Good coffee, service felt a smidgeon slow but it i was in and out in less than 10 minutes so, that was just me. And, the people at the counter were just lovely-- very polite, professional, and pleasant.I would definitely recommend Delaney's for coffee and a treat to start the day. Or for lunch.“
“Tasty doughnuts! They sell out quick though! Online is says they open at 9, I got there a little after 10 and there were very few choices left. They were all very good I just wish I had gotten there sooner or if they do open earlier it would be nice if that was reflected properly on Google.“
“I wish I lived closer, but I will often detour on my way to work to stop in. This is a great place, coffee is great and reasonably priced, I almost always get a pastry and they are excellent. Lovely vibe and the staff are friendly and welcoming.“
“I’ve frequented MOODZ Co since they were a juice bar, but I honestly understand why they’ve pivoted to serving food. It’s REALLY good. I realized I had to post a review because the oyster mushroom wings were 10/10 (I will say they’re more like a calamari texture in my humble opinion) I also don’t usually enjoy eggrolls but AJ (owner) recommended I try his vegan Philly cheese steak eggrolls and OMG they’re even better than the mushroom wings/calamaris. Seriously impressed and I’m glad they’re still around to serve vegan options to the Pittsburgh area!PS - I stole these pic from the MOODZ Co IG page because I ate everything too fast to document :)“
“Love this place. Food is incredible and the restaurant itself is quaint and homey. Get the cold brew if you're a coffee lover!Vegetarian options: Caprese Sandwich and many, many more option.Wheelchair accessibility: I could easily fit my manual wheelchair in the door and into a seated position at a table. Staff was very accommodating.“
“This was a really nice First Watch location! Very open atmosphere and a good amount of seating. Service was quick and the food came out fast as well! Definitely recommend their salads here but everything we have had here has been top notch! We will be back “
“As I've posted before, I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I prefer local, non-corporate coffee. I also like places with personality, great customer service and, of course, great coffee. Cafe cravings had it all. It's old school -- and seems to attract people from all walks of life. There was a line out the door and only two workers but they were hustling while simultaneously bantering with the locals and maintaining a great attitude. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and an americano, which were as tasty as we'd have hoped, but the 5 star review has far more to do with the authenticity of this neighborhood gem. I look forward to my next visit.“
“My favorite breakfast spot in the Pittsburgh area! I usually get one of their many benedicts and they're always excellent. I've also tried a few omelets and biscuits and gravy. The menu is pretty large so there's something for everyone. I recommend reading before you go if you can because it can get overwhelming trying to read everything if they're busy.I've also tried some of their take home meals and they're really good too.It can get kind of busy on the weekend so there might be a wait but it's never been long.“
“My sister-in-law and I have been coming here for years to celebrate our birthdays. Food is delicious, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the owners are kind and friendly. We keep coming back year after year. It’s one of the gems of the Pittsburgh area. Linda Mueller and Nancy Mueller“
“Came in for an EAGLES SUNDAY!! Our servers were the most friendly and attentive ladies. My dad and I split the classic 1 with no swiss and an order of hot garlic parm wings. The sandwich was great. The rye bread was lightly toasted and the red pepper relish was just the right amount of heat. The wing flavor was great and they were a decent size. We wished they were a little more crispy, but they were definitely a solid 8/10 as is. The fries were pretty good! They were lightly seasoned, but also not super crispy. They have two bathrooms, one downstairs and one outside. My dad said the one outside was clean, but the con is that you have to walk outside to get there. The decor inside is great. You can tell they love sports. The vibe is exactly what you want for a game day. I'll be back!“
“Visiting from out of state, we went for the Rivers Of Steel industry tour then wanted lunch. Got the Chicken and Waffle and some pies. Generous 4 pieces of boneless chicken, lightly breaded and fried, moist and tasty. Waffle was a waffle. Cash only; they could probably get more business if they accepted credit cards. Located in the basement of the the Nyia Page Community Center, which is the old First Presbyterian Church. The double doors have a mural pf Aunt Cheryl painted on them; otherwise there is little signage and you might drive right by the place and not spot it.Update: the pies were good, had the peach and sweet potato.“
“Love this place!Just enjoyed chicken salad sandwich, bowl of chili and onion rings.Portions so big, I couldn’t finish. Had to bring doggie bags home for another try later today.Yum!This place is VERY generous on portion sizes.A gem for a great breakfast or lunch!“
“Love this place, great coffee, baked goods, and people, and it's inexpensive. Only complaint is that I wish they'd fix the wobbly tables! Maybe I've just gotten unlucky but the times I've gone the tables led to very sloshy “
“I found it by accident. And I am so glad that I did.The ladies that own it have the perfect southern charm to go with their perfect southern soul cooking. They are from Georgia and you can taste it.I had the wing dinner. Perfectly seasoned perfectly fried wings. Mac and cheese so cheesy and amazing. And the sweet potatoes. Oh my the sweet potatoes. They were hands down the best I ever had. Creamy and sweet and perfect. It was all so amazing. The food, the service, everything. Such an amazing hidden little gem.I will be back for sure.(They have all you can eat on Sunday’s for TWENTY DOLLARS!)“
“This is a nice, clean restaurant with friendly staff and generally good food. (One of my few bad experiences was an unripened avocado on my chipotle chicken avocado sandwich.)My one complaint is they keep the thermostat very low, in both summer and winter. In summer, I’ve been there when they had their fireplace on but the ac on so low to the extent that I had to wear a coat I happened to have in my car. I’ve mentioned this to staff a few times, but it’s always the same. And it’s not just me. I see others eating with their coats on as well. Maybe they don’t want people staying more than the time it takes to finish their food?Anyway, also a waste if money on electricity that they could use for better things than to freeze out customers.“
“61B is super cool and very pittsburgh. I also enjoy their sister store in squirrel hill. The barista was super kind and helpful. There is a spiral staircase that goes to a lower level. They sell coffee grinds here too. I got the mocha latte and it was great. The prices are great comparatively for other coffee shops.“
“When I first arrived, there was a line..I wasn't gonna stay, but my son really wanted their food.. glad I stayed bc as per usual, line moved, food awesome and that's bc the kids that work there r amazing and smart w the menu (& that's not ez!!!) Loved it and recommend ?“
“Stopped in because usual breakfast place was closed. True mom and pop place. Low key. Greatest prices for breakfast I've seen in a long time. Good food. Unfortunately not too many tables inside. All in all, nice little place. Service intimate. Will return“
“I ABSOLUTELY LOOOVEEE THIS PLACE! Perfect place if your looking to grab a great cup of coffee and have a peaceful atmosphere and is also a perfect place to utilize for catering! I have utilized Hazelwood Café for multiple events and they have been AMAZING to work with every time! Great prices, quality product, great presentation...literally they embody what you would desire from a professional catering company. Looking forward to utilizing them again in the near future!“
