“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“

She’s like an old-time waitress in the best way—friendly, attentive, and she makes you feel truly appreciated. She goes above and beyond and makes the whole place feel like home. Lee's Belgian waffle came with a side of powdered sugar to sprinkle atop your buttered and syrup covered waffles. I savored every sweet, semi- cake bite.“

The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The service was very good, the interior was clean and bright, and prices were on par with most other places. Unless you ask for sides of jelly you get charged for jelly too, cups of water if in a Togo cup..any way they can make another 10cents they will.
