“Made reservations at 7pm at loch bar for my sister’s birthday. I got there first and since my sister was a few minutes away, the host couldn’t seat me without her. My sister arrived at 7:05pm and the host informed us that it was busy therefore we would have to wait at the bar until there is a table available. I’m not sure what is the point of a reservation, if you won’t be seated right away. The bartender was really nice and welcoming. 20 minutes later, there was an open table. The appetizers were delicious especially the mussels!!!! The caviar and potato skin were sooo good as well. The oysters were fresh & cold just how I like it. I ordered shots of clase azul for my sister’s bday and we decided to do a bump of caviar & a shot of clase azul. It was a great combo! Thank me later.“

The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The culinary delights are streamed, gluten free or lightly fried. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs,all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. “Tried takeout today for the first time and everything was delicious. This is more of a takeout place since the vibe is very basic, but there are a few tables for eat-in. I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I've had elsewhere and not as thick as usual--i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!“

“I'm from "The Strip" in West Philly, but I live in Houston now. I wanted to taste home when I visited this summer. My friend took me to this place and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Delicious, fresh, quality fried chicken wings, crab sticks, gizzards. It was worth every calorie and penny. Went back twice during my stay in Philly. “If you’re craving good lo mein, look no further. At the recommendation of someone on the local community page, we tried King House a few months ago and now this is the ONLY place I get Chinese from.

Their vegetable lo mein is always loaded with veggies, super flavorful & fresh. It’s not greasy like some other places either. The Singapore mei fun, General Tao’s, wonton soup & steamed dumplings are fantastic as well, and the owners/employees are always so friendly to boot.

“Tasty food, quick and friendly service. Sweet and sour chicken was great, but the mongolian beef was more onions than beef. It was delicious though and I like onions so I don’t think it’s worth docking points, plus the prices are so low it’s still worth the money.“

“I just ordered from here and oh my goodness that was so good. I got basic sweet/sour chicken, white rice, wonton soup, and Chinese donuts. The chicken was so fresh and crispy. The chicken was also really good quality, very trustworthy. Flavor of the wonton soup was on point and it was stuffed with wontons. The donuts could have been covered with more sugar but the dough was still good. I can tell the oil they are using is fresh (at least for my experience.) Food was ready fast.“

“Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

“What a fantastic, intimate, family run restaurant. ALL of the food is fresh, and the flavors and appearance of the dishes are amazing. The menu covers Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. “One of my favorite local spots. I often come here alone and order some soup dumplings and cucumber salad and sit at the window and people watch. If you know you know.

But most notably, their cucumber salad is 10/10! It is addicting and refreshing. Best in the city! My favorite!“

“Got a general tso combo platter. Super fast, the staff is very friendly, and the portion size is easily double anywhere else in east mount airy for a dollar or two less. Downside is the chicken was not crispy, and it was barely in the box for 5 minutes so i know it didnt get soggy that way. Also the fried rice and egg roll were only so so. Because of the huge portion im having some of the chicken for lunch the next day, 100 percent better cold so it isn't soggy.“

I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 cause they gotta do better with the frying oil (change the oil when they supposed to) cause sometimes when I get chicken wings I can taste the dirty oil and that's not very pleasant. The food is always fresh, tasty and having moved down south trips back up North include a 30 - 40 min drive from New Jersey. “The food is absolutely amazing but the lady at the counter answers the phone politely and then she sighs out of frustration and gets impatient and the energy becomes negative . I loved this place cause I’m from jersey and I just moved here so was looking for a stable place to get my takeout and this place has GREAT FOOD!!!! For me it’s always fresh and hot but here’s where things get tricky….

There’s always those bad seeds that pit in minimal effort. When I left the tip the lady asked “ are you going to leave a tip?” I said ABSOULTELY !! I always leave a tip for good service . And I told her 3 dollars and she said

“THATS IT!!!” I immediately yelled at her becuase i was offended.someone needs to teach the lady on the phone humility. So I stopped leaving tips!!!!! Becuase number one I’m buying food from your establishment so I’m still investing my money into your Bussiness when I can go elsewhere . Number two a tip is optional !!! You don’t dictate how much I tip. As long as your giving good Bussiness your tips will total from multiple customers and orders . DONT LET YOUR GREED BE YOUR DOWNFALL!!!. I will leave a tip moving forward but some you ever disrespect me becuase you want a 20 DOLLAR TIP FOR A 45 dollar order!!! I’m not rich and wealthy and you don’t manage my money . GOD BLESS“

“I have been ordering there for 10+ years. They are great. They did have a downfall when the head lady that used to answer phone calls left. I do miss her. She was very personable. They would mess up my order, but since then things I’ve gotten better. Overall, it’s good food“

“It is affordable and has a large portion. It is said that the beef brisket rice is delicious, but the quantity of beef brisket rice is limited, so it is best to buy it before twelve o'clock.
