“Was there for a birthday party and the food was delicious the pizza and ravioli were very good and the fried chicken was delicious the service was impeccable atmosphere was a bit dated but I wasn't there for the atmosphere!!! And that place was packed!!!“

“Let me start by saying, this deserves 6 stars. The food was fabulous, the size of the entrees was enormous, the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Kassidy was wonderful. It is not often you get both quality and quantity, but here you will. The menu is filled many unique dishes and appetizers. I included photos of the menu for review. We had the baked goat cheese appetizer which Kassidy recommended and it didn't disappoint. In fact this may be the best appetizer I have ever had. The bread was like nothing I have ever had, it was so good. Besides the wonderful entrees, I would recommend getting this appetizer even if you got nothing else. I probably don't have to add this, but I HIGHLY recommend this Jaffre's location if you are looking for a wonderful meal, delicious food and great service.Thank you again Kassidy for the recommendations and helping make our first time at Jaffres in Latrobe extra special.PS: I forgot to mention their fries are fresh cut and AWESOME!Parking: Very large parking lot in the back, with plenty of available parking.“

“We are new to town, our son just started attending School here. We found DeGinnaro’s on google and this resto was fabulous. Tons of yummy food-you won’t leave hungry! Very authentic Italian-the green beans, the chicken parm and the cod fish were 10/10. Jimmy and Timmy have great people skills and are obviously having fun! Make sure you check it out!“

“A group of us were going to a concert at The Palace in Greensburg and this restaurant was recommended as a place to get dinner beforehand. We all were very impressed. They have an extensive menu, with pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wings, all kinds of appetizers, soups, wonderful things! Drinks included wine, beer and soft drinks. The portions were plentiful, everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the service was exceptional. I’ll definitely stop by there again when I’m in town for a show.“

“I've been going to Valozzi's for years, so I know the drill with pricing. But $50+ for a crab cake w a few asparagus spears is high in Chicago, let alone Greensburg. There weren't many entre options under $40. The $14 calamari appetized was way too salty (I have a very high tolerance for salt, so...)- we mentioned this but didn't get much empathy/feedback. The wine by the glass options were disappointing- not expending them to crack a new bottle of Caymus for 2 glasses, but washing down that $55 crab cake with wine from a $15 retail bottle is disappointing. The best value here has always been the pizza- but we were looking for a nice dinner out to sit down and explore some interesting main courses. The place was fairly empty, but we were seated at a small table against the wall (route 30 was immediately behind the wall outside that table leaned against) despite having reservations. Our waiter was nice, and I'm sure we should have complained more/asked to move/asked for the inedible calamari to be taken off our bill. But I didn't have the energy on a Fri. night so I guess shame on me. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back- spending over $150 with one of us having pizza (+2 glasses of sub-par wine) is not the best choice. Sadly, there aren't many good choices left if you are looking to avoid the big box, processed food choices like Olive Garden and Red Lobster in this area.“

“Outstanding sauce! Reminds me of Nona Chicklo's Sunday gravy. Nice portions and very reasonable prices. I just wish they always had wedding soup in addition to their soup of the day. I've been eating there once a week for the last couple months. One of the few places left that still has real hand pounded veal.“

“Four Stars overall, 5 stars for their pizza. All of Giannillis food is very good and reasonably priced. Their pizza, in my opinion, is among the best in Greensburg. It is made with dough that I consider traditional pizza dough. I enjoy the whole pie, including the crust.“

“Went here on St Patrick's Day after a show at The Palace Theater place was very busy good thing we had reservations and got seated immediately. Food was amazing we had bruchetta appitizer and lasagna both were excellent. We will definitely be back again.“

Chicago man here, and that's really good pizza.Really fresh veg ingredients on my Spinach, Mushroom, Roma Tomato pie. “Had the privilege of having carasellas for the first time yesterday. I chose a place I've never had for my birthday. Let me tell you got 3 extra large pizzas, all absolutely amazing. We all loved it and will be ordering always from now on. Was hot, fresh and loaded! Keep up the great work, looking forward to trying more items.“

“Nice little bar/restaurant off the beaten path. Bar isn’t opened but they do serve alcohol. The owner was super friendly and very nice. Other waitresses very nice too. Food is homemade, made fresh daily (as far as I know). Went on a Friday about 5:30pm and it was packed. We sat on bar side which we like because it was less noisy with all the chatter in the dining area. We ordered the small fish platter. 1/2 fish sandwich, fries, coleslaw $10-11 reasonable. I also order a side of the Haluski (only make it during lent). I will say the fish was delish but the fish portion size to the 1/2 roll was rather small. The haluski was fabulous! Not what I was used to but so good! So good I overlooked the $5 side price. Again home made everything. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. I highly recommend trying this place.Parking: Lot is a decent size but it fills up fast at peak times and then you have to hunt for street parking.“

“This is an amazing place!! Great food atmosphere staff what more can you ask for. A family member stopped in because they know I love the wedding soup. They did not have any available. The owner specially made this soup fresh for me. I run a business what more can you ask for . If your in Latrobe stop by you will not be disappointed amazing authentic Italian food. “This restored warehouse is a fun and unique venue for weddings/events!We had a spectacular time at a wedding this past weekend. Set up well for a wedding with only a few choke points in the space, it hosted the event quite nicely.There is a vintage train car set up in the space, which was perfect for the cookie table, a photo booth, and a nice place to cool off for a moment from the dance floor.Overall, enjoyed the wedding immensely and would recommend your event for this space!“

“We had dinner there last night with our family. Our family style dinner included chicken and peppers, chicken parmesan, manicotti, soup, and salad. Everything was excellent and generous portions. The waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit to LaVitas, a small, welcoming, family style restaurant where it takes you back to dinner at Grandma's. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Greensburg.“

“Very nice place for my son's end of season football banquet. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place was very clean and decorated real nice for the Christmas season. Only complaint was the little dabs of food they served you. There were little roasted potatoes you were allowed 2 of and Alfredo noodles that they put maybe 6 on your plate and if you ask for more they make sure to only scoop 3 more noodles on to your plate.“

“A friend brought Gino Giannilli’s pizza over for a gathering of good friends! We laughed and had so much fun! Gino’s pizza was everyone’s favorite pizza of all time!!! It brought back memories of nearly 40 years before when my husband took me to Gino’s on our first date! Gino Gianilli’s pizza has the perfect thickness of crust, tangy sauce, and a blend of cheeses no other pizza has.“

There is ample parking on both sides of the building.We were warmly welcomed and they were extremely accommodating of our toddler aged child.They start you off with complimentary crispy bread and a DELICIOUS oil for dripping. Would return for that in itself honestly. I got a sangria which I really enjoyed. My husband was a little disappointed that they don’t have any beers on tap- just be aware.We definitely ordered too much food, but we’ll know for next time.My husband got the greens and beans and I got the goat cheese appetizer to start. We really enjoyed both and were very generous portions.Both of our entrees came with soup or salad. We both got salads which were nice mixed greens.My husband got the sausage pasta and I got the chicken/spinach/artichoke pasta. Skip mcdonalds or wendys. Go here, you wont regret it 100%. Price is about same as meal at mcdonalds but burgers are huge and real.“

I took one star away from atmosphere, though, for the unnecessarily loud and constant announcements from the boarding flight. “Under new ownership! Wow!! Pleasantly surprised!! The dough was light and not heavy with a crisp on the bottom you would expect from New York. I’ve traveled a lot and had pizza at some of the best in the country and this place holds its own and I didn’t expect a Calzone of this quality!
