Edit: I net the new owner. The inside of this amazing bar is totally renovated. This spot is a gem. They are open this Monday (labor day) and going foward will be open 7 days a week 12pm-2am.“

“We had a great experience at the Little Brown Barrel! The food was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The Ale Battered Fish and Chips were a standout. The cod was perfectly crispy and clearly battered to order. The pickled onions on top added a unique zing, and the Old Bay fries were the perfect match. The housemade dill tartar sauce was fresh and flavorful, complementing the dish without overpowering it. We also tried the Smoked Wings with Creamy Buffalo Sauce. They were smoky, tender, and had just the right amount of heat, a great twist on a classic favorite. A special mention goes to the appetizer: Brussels sprouts made just for us. They were made to perfection and packed with flavor, a great surprise and a nice touch by the kitchen. Overall, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!“

“You can just feel the history in this place and it's fun to explore. If you're a first time visitor, get a seat in the basement down by the old chuch tunnel.
Upstairs, take a good look at that bookcase in the corner, it's actually a door leading to another large room.
As for the food, fantastic wings and cheesesteaks. Great drink selection, the freshest Yuengling in the area and the Guinness blends are a lot of fun. My personal favorite is the Darklord (Guinness and Lord Chesterfield).
This is a must-visit location when you're in the Skook.“

“Went to Millie's Kitchen at the Uptown Tavern last night, 11/16/2020. It is a "Hole in the Wall) type place. Very casual place: plastic utensils, paper towels for napkins, etc. The food was excellent. The portions were huge. Many items to choose from. The bar keep was very engaging. I had the mini tacos as an appetizer with the boneless chicken wings w/sweet bar-b-que sauce and a chocolate martini. I'm still eating the wings today. Frank had the beef cheese steak sandwich w/hot sauce and he loved the taste and texture of the meat. we will be going back again SOON“
