“We had a great experience at the Little Brown Barrel! The food was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The Ale Battered Fish and Chips were a standout. The cod was perfectly crispy and clearly battered to order. The pickled onions on top added a unique zing, and the Old Bay fries were the perfect match. The housemade dill tartar sauce was fresh and flavorful, complementing the dish without overpowering it. We also tried the Smoked Wings with Creamy Buffalo Sauce. They were smoky, tender, and had just the right amount of heat, a great twist on a classic favorite. A special mention goes to the appetizer: Brussels sprouts made just for us. They were made to perfection and packed with flavor, a great surprise and a nice touch by the kitchen. Overall, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!“

“This place was very good! As usual I ordered a Reuben sandwich. I will say that it was very good here and I was very satisfied. There could have been a little more meat but in general it passes the test for me. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful the entire time. Add the most surprising part of my whole visit was the price! Compared to other restaurants in the area this was a little cheaper and yet the food was a better quality. I would totally eat here again and look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend!“

I've read some of the other reviews about the interior being dated, BUT that is part of the charm of this place. It was clean and well kept!! “Went to Millie's Kitchen at the Uptown Tavern last night, 11/16/2020. It is a "Hole in the Wall) type place. Very casual place: plastic utensils, paper towels for napkins, etc. The food was excellent. The portions were huge. Many items to choose from. The bar keep was very engaging. I had the mini tacos as an appetizer with the boneless chicken wings w/sweet bar-b-que sauce and a chocolate martini. I'm still eating the wings today. Frank had the beef cheese steak sandwich w/hot sauce and he loved the taste and texture of the meat. we will be going back again SOON“
