The gazebo and ballroom are gorgeous! We got so many compliments on our venue and the food they served was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend The Lamplighter for weddings or any event!“

“It was a very nice experience from the time we walked in. It wasn't busy so we got seated and waited on promptly. The waitress was awesome! She was friendly and helpful answering our questions about certain menu items and refilling our drinks in a timely manner. The food was phenomenal!! I just got a hamburger which was delicious but my husband got a full rack of ribs! Those ribs were the best I think I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! “The food was good. This was our first visit so it was tough to make a choice with so many terrific sounding options. We ordered the wild-berry waffle and the special Cajun/gumbo waffle. I am always excited when there is a Bloody Mary on the menu but when I attempted to order one I was told they were out of vodka. Boo! Also my Cajun waffle arrived at the table without the raspberry topping and I had to ask for it to be added. I’d gladly try this place again if we are ever in the area while they are open.“

“The food was great. I had strawberry pancakes which was great and a large amount. Waitress Jessica is the best I have ever encountered, gifted smile, and on her game completely. You don't have to ask for anything, extra napkins, jelly, salt, pepper, take out containers, she has it all covered before you need them. She's the best of the best. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.“

“We ate here tonight and the service was amazing. Bri or Bria was our waitress and she was one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. There were about 16 of us all together and she took really good care of us. Constantly kept an eye on our drinks. We never had to ask for a refill. She was always smiling and even sang happy birthday to my special needs niece who we were there for celebrating. We all hung out for a while after we ate and never felt rushed which is what I really liked. Thank you for the wonderful service and great food. We spun the cool wheel for my nieces birthday for a prize.“

My quoted time was 40 to 55 minutes. We waited an additional 30 to be told that I wasn't checked in properly. Waited a total of an hour and 20 minutes and still was not seated.“

I consider myself somewhat of a Reuben connoisseur since that's what I usually get at sandwich places, and this one is definitely top of my list. They give you a huge portion for a decent price and everything tastes very fresh. Our server Ian was extremely friendly and personable and he checked on us often. We also had a member of the family who was gluten free and Johnathan made sure that we were aware of what she was able to eat even to the level of detail that he accounted for spices that contained gluten. “Everything I got was so delicious and I got a smorgasbord last week! I had last week's special pizza haluski, sounds odd but it was sooo good. The veggie sub...wow so good that bread was not just some sandwich bread from the store I think it was homemade and I loved the balsamic glaze! The walnut coffee cake was heavenly, the cheesecake light and fluffy and the buffalo battered cauliflower nice and crispy and so good.
