The gazebo and ballroom are gorgeous! We got so many compliments on our venue and the food they served was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend The Lamplighter for weddings or any event!“

Finally the atmosphere small but welcoming, I feel like family after all these years. Glad to have somewhere like this so close to home!“

“It was a very nice experience from the time we walked in. It wasn't busy so we got seated and waited on promptly. The waitress was awesome! She was friendly and helpful answering our questions about certain menu items and refilling our drinks in a timely manner. The food was phenomenal!! I just got a hamburger which was delicious but my husband got a full rack of ribs! Those ribs were the best I think I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Our server's name was Shelly!“

The dogs were downright amazing as always, but the lunch lady on wheels stole the show as their food was so good when it started cooking that was all anybody could smell, and all anybody could talk about!! “The food was good. This was our first visit so it was tough to make a choice with so many terrific sounding options. We ordered the wild-berry waffle and the special Cajun/gumbo waffle. I am always excited when there is a Bloody Mary on the menu but when I attempted to order one I was told they were out of vodka. Boo! Also my Cajun waffle arrived at the table without the raspberry topping and I had to ask for it to be added. I’d gladly try this place again if we are ever in the area while they are open.“
