“Recently went to SideStreet for lunch with a group of seven. Server was friendly & efficient. Three ordered flat bread pizza, very good, thin & crusty. Beef sliders, excellent, a panini with grilled chicken & roasted peppers, great sandwich, also all sandwiches came with good helping of fries, very good. We ordered some onion rings & fried zucchini as apps, all good. Two people ordered salad, one with shrimp, the other with chicken,major disappointment! Terrible romaine, wilted & chicken & shrimp difficult to find, also packaged dressing. Moral of the story, don't order salad where they serve Bar Food! Will go here again, enjoyed the lunch.“

“Dare I say the best wings I’ve had in quite some time. Came at an off time so was in between lunch and dinner but we made it work with our food choices. Perfect rustic cabin vibe, just what you would expect in the area. Have been here before & will be back sooner than later.“

“Nice tables on the porch to enjoy outside eating. The fish & chips were perfect with the best home made tartar sauce I've ever had. The cheesecake was pretty darned good also. “Was our first time here.Good place to eat. Workers were friendly. Food came out fast. The chicken cordon bleu bites, cheddar broccoli soup, mushroom brie soup, and coleslaw were great.Interesting outside area of shops and a cute small duck pond that we took pictures by.We got here at 5:50pm and the stores were already lock and closed everyone was gone, even though the hours said they are open till 6pm Would have liked to go in an shop in the little shops. Wished they were opened a little later, missed the opportunity. Definitely would stop by again if back in the area.“

“On 2 May 2024 I decided to stop by at the Mountain House. I walked in and it is an amazing interior. It’s a bit of rustic, a little bit of industrial and very aesthetically pleasing. as I was meeting a friend there I obviously got there way too early so I sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice beer with some amazing fried pickles. Anybody that knows me knows my weakness is fried pickles and I have to say these are some of the best I’ve had in my almost 60 years. They were crispy and crunchy was spicy and I wish I would’ve gotten a couple more orders. When my friend arrived, we went out and sat by the lake. We both ordered the New York strip steak, which was cooked exactly the way we wanted it and came with a sauce and some onions and mushrooms on top. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of the mistake because as soon as it was put in front of me, I just dug in and started eating. It wasn’t until I was almost done that I said dang it. I should’ve taken a picture. The steak came with vegetables and potatoes. I’m going back to the mountain house to try the fish tacos and the tzatziki bowl. Those caught my eye, but I didn’t have enough room in my belly. And you can see from the picture I attached. It is a great view, and it was very peaceful and relaxing.“

“Cozy bar with reasonable prices! We stayed in a newly opened Cobmin Ridge Motel. The best motel rooms I have ever seen and I travel a lot! Very modern. I wish the bar from inside and out is more updated. Its a great busy road and this business can make so much more money with some simple updates.“
