“What a great happy hour! The bartenders are attentive and personable. The bartender, who was serving us, made a special drink for my wife who wanted something with vodka. He nailed it and she loved it. The Ripp fries are an absolute must if you want a delicious bar snack. We also tried the squash blossom (recommended by the bartender) and it was amazing. Definitely a must go!“

I was a big fan of Asad’s, however, afterwards I would always feel heavy, nauseous, and just overall gross. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The owners seem like good, genuine people. “Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.“

“This was my second time here. I went a couple of months ago and I ordered the same type of tacos (cauliflower). The tacos this time were much more flavourful, had more sauce/seasonings. I also had the same margarita and it was also much improved.

I was there with a party of 8. Service was great and one of our party was running late. We weren’t rushed and were asked if we wanted to wait to order food, which I really appreciated.

Our party included meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free (celiac, not by choice). There were multiple choices for everyone. Everyone thought their meals were really good - and this is a crowd that frequents Mexican restaurants.

I have celiac disease and can tell within 30 minutes whether or not I got exposed to gluten. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, from drinks to the food. I was assured that what I ordered had no cross contamination and they don’t put other items in the fryer that they use for tortilla chips. I had heard that they had stopped doing this a few months ago from an online review - but seems like they have a dedicated fryer for their chips again. I did not have a reaction!

The rooftop deck is beautiful and just a wonderful atmosphere. The entire restaurant though is thoughtfully decorated and the murals are gorgeous. Also really thrilled about supporting a local who clearly put a lot of thought into opening a restaurant here in East Falls and making it such a wonderful experience.“

“Select is a very nice addition to Warrington. I've visited three tines; twice with my husband who loves the chicken tenders and shrimp and lobster bisque, and with friends. I enjoyed the pancakes and my friends enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles. The food has been consistently flavorful. I ordered the rice bowl with salmon. The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive. I enjoy the Cage (bar area). It's a fun and cozy atmosphere for adults. I plan to return, soon. I love the place!“

“A fun event. Good food on sale. Good drink variety on sale. The garden was lovely and tucked under a rail line. Parking wasn't terrible (for Manayunk). The event was well run: lots of give aways, activities and all in a cute location.“

I have to say the dishes were not as tasty as you get it IN Taiwan, but I think if you’ve never eaten it in Taiwan you’d probably be quite happy with it! It still satisfied my craving to an extent, and would definitely order again because there aren’t many Taiwanese restaurants to choose from, but for Taiwan locals it might not meet your standards!“

He set up the wii for us and we just had a wonderful afternoon playing darts, Wii, and drinking very good beers (highly appropriate is the MVP). “Everything was great. My only complaint was that it was one of my son's birthdays. Two of my son's arrived earlier then we did and told the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday. Then when I arrived, I also told the waiter. We ordered dessert and someone other then our waiter delivered them. I asked if they had a candle because we were celebrating a birthday. He said yes, he didn't know it was a birthday and he would take it back and get one. He left the other desserts. Meanwhile all of or dinner plates were all still on the table. So we moved them to the center so that we could make room for the desserts. The waiter came back with a candle and we started to sing. Then our waiter came over and grabbed one stack of dishes from the center of our table right while we were video taping Happy BDay. A little more attention to detail would have been nice. But again, we enjoyed our dinner and the vibe out on the deck and we will be back.“
