“Stopped by after a hike. Great little ice cream shop. Ice cream was delicious. Not exactly sure what type of ice cream they serve but it was not Hershey's, was a nice change. I had cinnamon cookie ice cream that was so good! Pay with cash to avoid an extra fee

“Whistle Stop on Wheels provided ice-cream at The Journey's Back to School Block party that catered to 750-1,000 people! They were a hit! I highly recommend them for any event small or large. Great selection of ice cream, great prices, and a great business owners/staff. Highly recommend!“
“You will not be disappointed!! The prices are crazy good and there banana split is my personal favorite. You cannot really find anywhere anymore that offers pineapple and strawberries in your banana split so that sold me. Also there homemade waffle cones are super good! I highly recommend anyone to go try if you haven't been there before.“

“I adore Rachel's pretzels. I've been here countless times since they've opened. We were heartbroken when they were temporarily closed for renovations but since they've been open again we've been here countless times. The food is amazing, same with the staff.“

“Tiny ice cream shop. With a struggling AC. The girl behind the counter sweetly served all 24 of us! (We had called ahead) the scoop sizes varied a little, but I’m not complaining. We were a lot of people!
There is only 2 tables for seating. I’d like try one of the other locations, cause the ice cream was fabulous! They just need more seating, and the entire space was kinda cluttered. I’ll probably be back, cause I really appreciate high quality ice cream, but I don’t recommend coming with more than 5-6 people. And I’d consider this a takeout only.“

“I wanted to treat my niece & her cheerleading friends but the game ran past Kristy’s closing time. They stayed open & took good care of the girls. Service above & beyond is just 1 reason to love Kristy’s. Their ice cream rocks is another!“

“Old fashioned ice cream place where you can get hard scooped or soft serve ice cream and Sundae’s.
Got 3 medium size cups of hard ice cream for $15.
Visited just before 3pm on a Wednesday and the parking lot was nearly full.
Very short wait to get served.
This is walk up counter service.
They have 3 picnic tables if you choose to not sit inside your car and eat.
I had coconut and my family members had butter pecan and mint chocolate chip, all were pleased with the flavor.
It’s easy off the highway to this location and well worth the stop.“
