“Honestly, this might just be one of my all-time favorite sushi spots. The Kanpachi Crudo and Crispy Tuna are absolutely outstanding. There’s also a fantastic selection of non-sushi options from the kitchen, perfect for anyone in your group who isn’t a sushi fan. The restaurant is clean, beautifully presented, kid-friendly, and, above all, serves truly exceptional food!“

“Koi is an amazing place! It is some of the best sushi my husband has ever tried, and it comes complete with a special design by their sushi chef. This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. Joey was our server last night, and it was great to learn more about the restaurant - plus he made us laugh and just made our experience even better! Their outdoor dining is an awesome option - and the setting truly can’t be beat! We can’t wait to come back!“

“Their spicy tuna sandwich is sooo delicious! Love this place! I was celebrating my birthday on 11/22 with my aunt, who’s never been there before. She liked everything we had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“We ordered delivery the beauty Alaskan roll and the torch roll. I love sushi but try not to eat much white rice so I was excited to see they had a black rice substitute option. I’ve never seen that at a sushi place before. It was a healthier substitute and still yummy and helped my sushi craving. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.“

“The staff was friendly and service was good but the place was so empty the atmosphere was kind of awkward. The Yellowtail Jalapeno and Shrimp Shumai were delicious. I also got the seafood ramen and while it wasn't bad it wasnt good. The vegetable broth was the best part, the mushroom, crabmeat and scallops were good, the fish cake looked cool but had no flavor and the Shrimp were awful. They were clearly thawed frozen shrimp and they were hard and just gross. I would not order this again but I would try a different ramen on the menu.“

This roll is one of the best and most unique flavors I've ever had. Even this day, I still remember the taste and wish I could go back to order it again. I must confess that I was initially confused by the appearance of the Lion King due to it being a "baked" hot roll, but I was willing to give it a try. This roll is one of the best and most unique flavors I have ever tried. Even to this day, I still remember the taste and wish I could order it again. Unfortunately, I live far away from PA, but if you're nearby, love sushi, and like trying new things, I encourage you to do so.“

“What a fantastic, intimate, family run restaurant. ALL of the food is fresh, and the flavors and appearance of the dishes are amazing. The menu covers Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. My only regret is that we don't live closer. This would EASILY be my go-to place, whether I'm dining in or getting take-out. Great job!!

“They have very fresh sashimi and delicious appetizers. Oysters were also fresh and the toro was one of the best i had in a while. The chefs said that the Uni was from Hokkaido. Uni just melted in my mouth.

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. “Stopped in on a whim after shopping at Trader Joe’s and thought sushi sounded good. We were pleasantly surprised after not knowing really anything about this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and had an awesome vibe to it - we were seated immediately and it was a Friday night! Server was quick & accommodating…she also gave us recommendations for most popular sushi rolls. Their menu in general is extensive, so much so that we ordered 3 more rolls than we needed because everything sounded so good. We also got one of their ramen bowls (also many options on their ramen menu!) which was TO DIE FOR. We talked about it for a solid week after! All of our food was so delicious, we feel like we found such a gem of a spot! We’ve already talked about how we’ll be making more Trader Joe’s tripped solely to come back to Kumo 🙌🏼 Highly recommend!!!!
