It’s the first place that comes to mind when anyone asks for hibachi recommendations in York! The family that owns it are wonderful hosts, and the hibachi cook is excellent with kids! I look forward to coming back every time.“

I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.“

“We were married here 24 years ago and went back on Saturday to celebrate. It didn’t disappoint. My husband made special arrangements to have wine and flowers on the table when we arrived and Lauren did phenomenal! The place is gorgeous, the food is delicious and the service was top notch!“

We got seated right away and they took or drink order. Their coffee was hot and good. They then took or food order. I got 2 eggs, 3 sausages, Home Fries and Rye Toast. My wife got a Belgium Waffle covered in fresh Strawberries. Our order came out fast and looked good. It was hot, tasty, and large portions. My eggs were done perfect and everything on my plate was good. They even buttered my Rye Toast. My wife’s Belgium Waffle was very good, and the fresh strawberries were fresh. We have eaten at this place many times in the past and they have good food, give you large portions at great price. You really can’t go wrong dinning here. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. “We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. “It's an old school feel type restaurant mostly older folks. The waitress and other people working were very nice they checked on me consistently. The interior of the restaurant is very very bland. Other than that the food came out in about 8 minutes and it was great the pancakes were nice and big the bacon was cooked perfect and she kept filling up my coffee.“
