The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. “Bills takes me back to a time when I was a young child. It's a beautiful old restaurant. The staff are fantastic, especially the older lady who waited on us. She said she was the waitress there from the time it was opened, many years ago. Food is fantastic! We always went for the breakfast, which came quick and was always delicious! Pricing is very reasonable. The only thing that I would change is, you have to pay cash, no cards. But, I did say it took me back. Thanks Bill, great job!“

“Old school small town Italian Sandwich and Pizza Shop. Bread on my hoagie and crust on daughter’s pizza was very nice. The bread for the sandwich had the crunch crust that is exactly what makes a hoagie good. Wife got an antipasto salad that was enough food for two. Overall a good experience.“

“I’ve been going to Grandview for years and it’s always a fun time. Their wine is excellent and they have a wide range available of sweet and dry. They also have beer and cocktails so there is something for everyone. We have visited in every season and had a great time. In the winter the indoor area is cozy with a good view and in the summer they have a decent sized deck to relax on.“

“We were looking online for a good restaurant to have lunch in Hummelstown before taking our tour of Indian Echo Cavern. We came across the Chatterbox which had overwhelmingly positive reviews so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. My wife and I both had potato soup and the chicken salad sandwich. The potato soup was served piping hot with a perfectly seasoned light broth that was chock full of chunks of potato. The chicken salad sandwich was served on a croissant and was literally bursting with a generous portion of chicken salad topped with slices of beautifully ripe tomatoes and lettuce. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients by Roxy, and the desserts were also home made by her husband. Both were delightful hosts as well, spending time giving us a tour of their unique interior (if you love collectible antiques and old adverting, this is a mecca for both) and relating their colorful family history. This is a delightful place to have a delicious lunch in a warm, quaint atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

It warms my heart to know there are still amazing people out here I’m sitting here in the restaurant and this old man comes in to get his food and he’s very elderly with a cane and couldn’t walk very well and the lady working here ran to help him. She helps get his sauces and stuff in the bag then helped him out and into his car. I hope and pray the best for that lady I have an older dad and I hope and pray people treat him with that amount of compassion when he’s gets to that stage!! I 10/10 recommend this places !! “While we were staying at a local B&B I was searching for something light to eat. This place came across my radar and I decided to try it. So I ordered a cheese steak wrap with lettuce and tomato. Fries and a drink came with it also. The wrap itself was small but that's ok I wasn't really that hungry lol. The taste was amazing and the fries were crispy. Not a bad deal for 11.00. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They also bring your food to your table. I liked that. I'm definitely coming back again when I'm in the area to try something else 👏“

Our waitress Wendy was very thoughtful and proactive in helping my wife navigate the menu with her food allergies. The burger meat is a combination of brisket, chuck, and sirloin. I am a very picky burger eater and even grow my own grass fed grass finished meat so when I say their burger is amazing, their burger is AMAZING. 11/10, cannot recommend enough. We will be back!!“

“Always love their food, worked there years ago back when it was crazy fun , but the food is still really good was craving my favorite chicken quesidillas and surprised my daughter , always easy to order and pick up if you don't have time to dine in . Plus they serve breakfast all day and all night long. Always a 24 hour go to spot.

Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids and when my kids were little and used to tey to act wild noone ever complained. I know they used to give out crayons for coloring.

It’s a shame we’re in town only a couple times a year, because I would easily go at least weekly. And the owner and his son are so nice, supporting the local community. I had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy and was very good. my fiance had the chopped steak and she wasn't disappointed. one grandaughter had the chicken tenders and fries and the other the Philly cheese steak. next time we are in hershey for vacation we will be coming back for sure .thank you for the great food and great service“
