“Since my go to dimsum spot permanently closed, I have been searching for authentic dim sum and luckily I found this spot. As soon as you walk in the decor is gorgeous & the service is quick & friendly.

The menu is large and they're constantly changing it up, I'm surpised its not busy as there are so many options to eat. The food we got was fresh, hot and delicious & the cucumber water was so refreshing.

If you're thinking trying dimsum, this is the place to do it go support them, you won't be disappointed! 🩷“

“Came in for takeout and there was no one inside eating . Lady at the counter was really nice and my food maybe took 15 minutes got a lunch special and it only cost a little bit over $10. “Small local chinese place with solid consistent food. I have been ordering from China Sea for 20 years. Lunch specials and combo plates are enough for 2 of us. Wonton soup is always delicious. Their Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are amazing, I recommend trying them. Delivery is always quick or pick up is a breeze too. Nice small lot in the back you can park in. Solid local gem.“

“Visiting from out of town. We live in central PA so there’s not much Japanese food. When it’s cold out katsu curry just hits the spot and theirs is absolutely delicious. Loved how the spice builds and the rice soaked up the curry. The beni shoga is delicious on top of curry dipped bites of katsu“

“Stumbled upon Katana when our usual spot in Robinson was closed between lunch / dinner. OMG happy we did, so fresh and flavorful. The Chefs rolled to order and served proper items accordingly. Our server was very personable and actually made conversation and checked back on us regularly. Sorry for the half eaten plate wanted to get picture first but blacked out and dug in!! This is now our spot for ayce sushi absolutely love it!!“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“Don’t get me started. Ordered this from Grubhub. I like how there is a great portion for the price I paid. Ingredients tasted of quality. My Veggie Mala Pot was absolutely delicious. I’m not easy to impress when it comes to food. I’ve been raving about it to all my friends this week.

“Very pleasantly surprised. We always eat at Fortune Star Buffet in Monroeville but decided to try this place cuz it's closer to us.

The buffet has relatively few selections (Fortune Star has a ginormous variety of dishes) but the QUALITY/TASTE of the food is WAY above Fortune Star.

My personal favorites were the spring rolls (I ate four where normally I eat only 1 or 2 max) and the General Tsao's Chicken: amazingly delicious whereas all other General Tsao's I've had is so-so at best.

We'll still eat at Fortune Star just due to its massive selection of buffet options but we will def be back to this one just for the proximity and the quality/taste of the food.

We lucked out and found a paid parking spot right across the street ($3.15 for an hour; paid via the Pay By Phone app.)“

“I ordered the spicy spider maki hand roll from uber eats. I never make google reviews. I had to come on here and say how fresh and delightfully tasting it was. The fried rice and miso soup is really good. I haven’t had fried rice that tasted well in a while from Uber eats in Pittsburgh.“

The food was outstanding, but I was surprised at the plastic flatware/napkin in a sealed plastic bag and not real stainless steel flatware. Prices were inline with other Indian restaurants I have been to. Unfortunately, it's street parking in an already crowded street because of apartments. Would I recommend? Absolutely. “This has become my fave chinese takeaway in pgh. The fried rice doesn't have any veggies but it's packed with meat and delicious. The lo-mein is my latest fave. I get both with pork and it's the good char siu type pork.

It has about 4 seats inside, but it's really a To Go kind of place“

“We love the taste and freshness of their food. Their wonton soup has the right blend of saltiness and spice. The shrimp cashew has nice big, flavorful shrimp and fresh veggies. You sometimes have to be specific and tell them exactly what you like and they will oblige. My only criticism is that their egg rolls have a funny taste, like they add ginger (which I don't care for). Other than that, this restaurant knows how to cook your favorite Chinese meals.“

“This was my first time ever stopping into the restaurant. I am very picky about my Chinese food. The establishment cleanest and surrounding is important to me. If I see any signs of uncleaniness I am out the door. So I am impressed so I ordered. Watched how they prepared my food and others impressed. So took my food which was done at the time they told me. I got home and the food was great and delicious. So they will see me again since it alot closest to my home.“
