On the afternoon of the party, Kerrie was a true star behind a very busy bar. She kept the drinks flowing all afternoon and did it all with a smile. Sherry was incredibly attentive to our group's every need, quickly and cheerfully fulfilling every request we had. And the food was outstanding! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious dishes prepared by Al. The entire Fireside team truly went above and beyond to give Ryann a fantastic 21st birthday celebration. “Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“I love supporting local businesses and captain's choice is on of my go to spots for beer or a seafood platter. He definitely has great prices on beer. He also sells wine as well as other alcohol drinks and cigarettes. My only complaint is that when you order the fried flounder platter they always give such a tiny amount of fries not even a handful of fries. I wish they would give you more fries with the meal. Also there the only place in the Mayfair area in my knowledge that sells cups of Philadelphia water ice all year around which I absolutely love.“

“Nissi’s is fantastic every time I go! Crabs are meaty and delicious, and the sauces are fantastic!! Nissi is super sweet and friendly! I have ordered crabs cooked and cleaned in her sauce and also just took them home live. Either way, you won’t be disappointed!“

I couldn’t believe how tender the lumps of lobster were and there was a lot in it! For the platter I got the combo (1 crab imperial, 3 fried shrimp and a piece of flounder). It was delicious! The crab imperial was so tasty ! The shrimp were fried to perfection and so fresh. The flounder was also very fresh and tender. Absolutely amazing. I got the coleslaw and cucumber salad as my sides. They were good. My husband got the onion rings and he said they were amazing (wish I got that instead)! For the dessert we got the rice pudding, it was good but could have been more creamy. Overall, the meal was so delicious and I will be craving it!! We will definitely be back for this deal again!!!“

Somehow they even remember my name despite their HUGE customer base. I can no longer justify ordering seafood in sit down restaurants because it is 4x the price and not as good. It was exactly the best of what you would expect - crisp lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and perfectly-cooked bacon strips cut into nicely-sized short sections (so much better than the bacon bits I feared I'd get).
