“The staff was absolutely lovely from the hostess to the server. The atmosphere was intimate, the decor throughout was very cool. The menu is very fairly priced and the food was incredible. “I'm giving you a 20 star first time I've ever ordered oxtails always just order fried fish and chicken and shrimp and sometime grill shrimp first off let me say that the beautiful young lady that work the front is amazing always smiling very sweet second the food is always hot and fresh but baby the oxtails in gravy the cabbage potatoe salad and rice is top that food was so good I was sucking the bones this store is the truth and the food proves it if you want good soul food in the city of Philly please please go to blu bay the best and I was asked if the oxtails better than the Jamaican stores the oxtails supercede the Jamaican restaurant one of a kind I will continue to go back more and more love it blu bay keep up the good work ?“

“Never disappointed after years of going there. Had 2 orders of shrimp and chips and large order of crinkle cut fries to share with my son. The food was hot and the order was ready quickly. From ordering to receiving orders was not even 7 Mins. I don't have any pics , devoured it hot in the car, before even leaving the parking spot.

“Ok so, service was friendly and fellow taking orders was very patient and polite. I ordered the Gumbo which seemed rushed. It had no true flavor. I also ordered crab cakes which were a huge disappointment because i expected lump cakes but it was more like store bought heavily breaded cakes. Finally my friend had the Alfredo and he enjoyed it but i did not. Sauce was watery and didn’t smell at all like Parmesan. In their defense i should have likely kept is crabs and shrimp. If i try them again that’s what i will do!“

“I'm from the Philly Suburbs originally. When I go home to visit I make a point to stop in Lew's. They recently updated their awning so it now has "Public House" in larger letters larger than "Lew's" so I temporarily panicked that it might have changed owners. Fortunately its still the same. If you like a nice cold beer and fresh seafood this is a great casual spot.“

“Just tried this restaurant...very pretty inside...service by Stefan was impeccable...he recommended dishes and explained the spice level...fish Murchi was delicious as were the pumpkin lamb and lamb with onions and peppers...all 3 desserts are worth trying...will definitely return to try new dishes“

“An amazing meal from start to finish. Fortunately, I was with a group so we were able to order a number of things off the menu. Our favorites were the shaved artichokes, the malloreddus pasta, the pork belly, and the entrecote, but really everything was so tasty and delicious. The drinks were also great too, and we were able to grab after dinner drinks at Caletta, the cocktail bar next door.“

“This is my husband and I’s FAVORITE spot now. The food is incredible- truly unique flavors, curated menu, combinations of elements that are a new experience every time. Service is always so friendly- the owner and head chef is the happiest and warmest person. He is a delight to be around! We keep coming back time and time again and it never gets old! “After hearing many good things we had them for dinner tonight. We each got a wrap: the “favalafel”, chicken schnitzel, and beef brisket, plus we got the spicy lamb hand pie and “bff” crispy potatoes to share. The favalafel was tasty although the person ordering it suggested they’ll add hummus next time for some extra binder. The schnitzel was also tasty although a bite or two was more on the spicy side than the rest due to a concentration of the spread there. The beef brisket was a real stand-out although a bit messy to eat because of the sauce. The spicy lamb had a nice crisp wrapper and was spicy as advertised. The crispy potatoes were fried to perfection and the zhoug-black garlic ketchup was a nice accompaniment. We will definitely be ordering from here again!“

“My go to Indian food place in Philly. Ekta is the best! I’ve tried others and none compare. The saag paneer and the lamb/chicken tikka masala taste amazing. Their mango lassi that they pre-make is a nice side to the meal.
Although there are tables in the restaurant, it isn’t really a sit down place. Something to be mindful of if you are looking for a sit down, dining experience.“

“Yes they take cards, and bring a tip too ?because you won’t regret it, my coworker suggested it, let’s just say she wasn’t wrong this food was delicious; she suggested the smoked wing platter( I got honey sriracha) and the crab rice( I got that too) the wing platter I gave to my son and we both enjoyed our food and yes I tasted his??♀️ both were nice size portions. In addition, we tried the lemonade which was great and the banana pudding was right on time and good too, and next time I’m getting something else because I’m sure I want to try all the things ? All I have to say is this food was made with love! Thank you guys for being courteous, kind, and bringing laughter while I was there?

“This is not a sit down establishment. However the owner is very friendly and I like the service. The seafood is nice and hot when it's done and is enough to for two meals. You can get fried or broiled, of course I like it fried.

THE CHICKEN WAS IN A SWEET THAI CHILI SAUCE THAT WASN’T DRENCHED IN SAUCE, YET HAD THE RIGHT AMOUNT…. THE MAC & CHEESE & COLLARDS TASTED LIKE HOME!!!…. THIS WAS REAL COMFORT FOOD THAT WASN’T SKIMPED ON OR LACKING!!!… AS A MATTER OF FACT, I’M ORDERING AGAIN TONIGHT!!!… I HAD ENOUGH FOR TWO DAYS UNTIL MY GREEDY GRANDSON CAME THE NEXT DAY & SAID, ‘NA NA, WHAT’S IN THE PLATTER?… CAN I HAVE SOME?’….
