“We love bubbas! They are always fast and delicious! Many places the service or food fluctuates each time you go, but Bubbas is consistently amazing. We love their wings wraps and fries! And when we’re feeling indulgent the milkshakes and cheesesteaks hit the spot. The prices are really reasonable for the quality of food too!“

“You probably won't have high expectations when you roll up to this place as it isn't fancy, but don't judge a book by its cover. I made the horrible mistake of eating at Pat's the other day, and the meat tasted like shoe leather. This little joint served up a perfectly seasoned hot cheesesteak and a great milkshake - I'll definitely be back.“

“Great neighborhood deli with the best breakfast sandwiches around. Boccella's does the classic breakfast sandwich right! By classic, I mean the staple [meat], egg, & cheese on a kaiser roll. They have a good ratio of bread-meat-egg with the perfect amount of melty cheese, served hot. I haven't tried their lunch food but I imagine it's just as good!

My only critique is that they sometimes go on vacation and don't update their Google hours, so I get my breakfast sandwich hopes up and then my dreams are shattered when I see the sign on their door.“

“What an absolutely legendary cheesesteak! As someone who has eaten more cheesesteaks than any normal human should comsume, I daresay this missile of a sandwich was the best I've ever had. Fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms, and all 3 cheeses. “Small walk-in sandwich shop that serves up big tastes! Their cheese steaks are excellent! While some places rely on their choice of bread to carry their cheese steaks, Jim's West puts it all out there with their meat. The juicy, delicious flavor of every bite reminds you who's the star. They also make a homemade banana pudding that you have to come back for! Don't be off if you see thru the door a lot of ppl squeezed inside waiting. Beside the kitchen area, there's little room but to order and move along with the line to pickup and pay. The employees are really fun and eager to serve, and work hard to keep things going and deliver good food. I'd definitely would return.“

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“My husband and I were in town visiting our son. This was definitely an authentic cheese steak. My son had the mushroom and hubby and I shared a mushroom and added hot/sweet peppers with Swiss cheese. My husband is GF and they made ours in a bowl with lettuce and tomato. We also ordered curly fries. Everything was delish and seasoned nicely. Looks like a party store, but step inside and eat in or take-out. It was a great way to begin our Philly visit.“

“I miss the HELL out of Franzone's but these guys make a hell of a sammie. Pretty sure Corropolese rolls. Super fresh. Cheesesteaks and hoagies rock. Pretty good creative pizza as well. Limited seating. Excellent service and prices. Most sandwiches are $15.“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. All-in-all, you can’t go wrong here.“

“Visiting relatives in Philly and wanted to try a cheesesteak. Royal’s is delicious. What really stood out to me was the pizza though. Sauce was unlike anything else I’ve had. It was the most excellent balance of sweet and spicy. Not sure I’ll find a sauce that tops this!!“
