Not everything was perfect; such a good restaurant should offer a decent espresso. Still, the pleasures of a small family restaurant, aspiring albeit uneven, far outweigh its odd deficiencies. “I can only really comment on their sandwiches, which are FANTASTIC. I normally get the Roast Beef or Pork Abruzzi sandwiches and they're great. The stuffed pepper shooters on them are top notch. I sometimes wish their was a bit more cheese on them tho. “Years ago bought fresh pasta when it was called Springfield Ravioli. Since then another good pasta place opened closer to me(Ridley) so haven't been here in a bit. I was looking for good breakfast sandwich in area. Web search, their name came up multiple times. Got scrapple , egg, cheese & son got red pepper, egg and cheese. Heard coffee was good. The sandwiches were great & quickly made. The coffee was fantastic, among best I've ever had. There were two types, a dark roast and a medium roast called "420". I believe locally roasted.“

Jamie was amazing, accommodating and professional. Ben, another waiter, was equally so. Both made us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was delicious, bountiful, and beautifully served. Timing for the different courses was perfect. “I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). “Our dinner at Fraschetta was EXCELLENT! The waiter was new and learning the ropes. He was charming and attentive. He had help from another waitress and the owner. I particularly like the fact that I was able to substitute the side for a vegetable. That is very rare these days and I appreciated that immensely. We also received a complimentary dessert. I don't know why but that was very kind. If it was because the waiter was learning, I know that we didn't mind that he was a newbie. Every new waiter should be as conscientious. “Overall we liked our food. The veal dishes were very good. My husband's pasta with crab had VERY LITTLE crab meat. My veal with sun dried tomatoes and artichokes had two small pieces of each. The pasta and veal were cooked well, but the ingredients were sorely lacking. Their policy on not offering a mix of flavors of gelato is very puzzling. The prices are very fair but you don't get the “advertised” ingredients. We like it here, but I'd rather pay a little more and get what is advertised.“
“We had a group in to dine on February 24th 2024. A Saturday. The man I spoke with on the phone to make the arrangements, Jay, was very helpful. We had 15 people including a few kids and took 2 entrees home and ordered like 5 appetizers. Service was phenomenal. John, one of our waiters, was very welcoming and helpful and thorough at providing exceptional service, making jokes and ensuring he answered any questions we had. The woman paired with him was excellent as well and I don't want to misspell her name. No one had anything but praise for their entrees. Full bellies and happy faces all around. We were very happy overall. We brought our own wine, plenty of delicious bread and butter was provided along with ice water. Even the 2 items ordered off the children's menu were large portions. I ate my entree 3 times altogether, the portion was so generous. Most things come with soup or salad too. I enjoyed the crab/shrimp bisque (only one person thought it was a touch salty) and the shrimp and salmon in vodka sauce. Very delicious! We've been here before and will definitely be back.
