“I am not from town. I was staying about a mile away. Google showed good reviews for this location. They almost lost my service because they didn't open on time. I decided to wait and give them time to open. It was worth the wait. I ordered a Big Cheesesteak and a Lil Special Italian. Both of them were huge, packed with tons of meat, and delicious. I will say the Special Italian was by far one of the best if not the best hoagie I've had.“

“I've been going here for years. Get the Godfather with long hots peppers, it's the best hoagie I've ever had. (The picture does NOT do this baby justice). It comes on a hard roll, with the option to add lettuce tomatoes (whole slices) and onions (chopped not long!). When they get busy you need to wait a bit (we waited about 20 minutes on a Sunday at 12pm). It's a small shop so standing room is tight.“

The decor is clearly done by hand, the painted stenciling slightly askew, the front window a darling mishmash of brocade and little sparkling candle-lamps and the odd hookah. A large mirror on the far wall stands like some magic portal in the back of a slightly chintzy bazaar, lending an airiness to the room along with the natural light from the wide front window.We were greeted by the proprietor, who learned all of his cooking from his mother and now shares the kitchen with his wife. Determined to ensure every visitor is treated to a flawless experience, he brought bottles of water and then proceeded to tour us through the menu, giving sound advice indeed on where to begin (and to end) the meal. Chatty and teasing, he is wonderful to talk to, but also knows when to vanish again and let you enjoy your food.And you Will.Sweet heaven.The caliber of the food brought to our table is far higher than a glance at the tables on the patio or the slightly drippy geometric patterns on the wall prepares you for. The plating was frankly lovely, and the flavours were absolutely to die for, from the lemony, garlicky eggplant to the sizzling, olive-studded chicken tagine. I came looking specifically for the pastilla, and the cinnamon-and-sugar-dusted, chicken and almond-stuffed pastry did not disappoint. Ultimately, the three of us could not finish everything, so a few scraps of leftovers, and a significant amount of baklava got packaged to go home. I recommend it, honestly, let the experience last as long as you can.So- We live hours south of this precious little place with its long couches and little round bolster pillows, but we Will be back. I'm sure I can find some sort of excuse in the area to make my way back up again.Vegetarian options: A significant portion of the menu is vegetarian, including nearly all of the appetizers, and several other options including a tagine and a falafel gyro. There are also fish options for those who are pescatarian.Parking: We were there early on a Sunday so found a spot reasonably easily, but it will probably be more difficult later in the day, and it is metered.Wheelchair accessibility: It's walk-out with no steps and can easily accommodate a wheelchair.“

“We went to BLK SHP for the first time to celebrate my father’s 84th Birthday. We will definitely be back! The food was wonderful and the portions were larger than we expected for tapas. Our waitress, Heather, was fantastic. She really added to our experience. The chef came around to visit the tables to see how everyone was enjoying their meal. She was very sweet. When she learned it was my Dad’s birthday she made sure to make a big deal about it. His dessert was all dressed up. Highly recommend!“

“I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!! The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious! Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!“

“We tried Autana’s food for the first time today and it was delicious! We tried tequeños, empanadas, tostones, mandocas, arepas y patacones. We had panela con limón. And for dessert we had chicha and tres con leches. Everything was so good, fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Oh, and service was wonderful. “Amazing! I went with my family after my daughter's gymnastics competition and I was pleasantly surprised! I expected good, but this was great! First off, the food was amazing. Their Margherita pizza was my favorite, and my daughter and really like the BBQ mushroom. Secondly, the service couldn't have been better! The food came out fast, they got our order right, and the waiter was so nice! Afterwards, he even offered my kids a scoop of ice cream to congratulate my daughter on her competition! A truly amazing restaurant that should get the love it deserves!Kid-friendliness: The server was so nice to my kids. After he heard about my daughter's gymnastics competition, he offered her a free scoop of ice cream! They also have many kid-friendly options like plain pizza or mozzarella sticks.“

“I had never tried Pho before, but was looking for something warm and spicy to battle this chilly weather we’re having. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. He told me about how it gets chilly in Vietnam in the evenings and they’ll make their broth spicy to warm them up. The food was incredible, spicy enough to warm you from the inside and so very flavorful. I will definitely be back.“

“We ordered on DoorDash. The bag was stapled at the top to be held upwards but the food was sideways. My rolls got soaked in sauce. Not a terrible thing but I’d prefer they were crispy. Highly recommend a different bagging/to go technique. The food was delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed everything in my bento box. The miso soup was good too. The dumplings were tasty but i had to pick out the beans/green vegetables was on it. Personal preference but other than that i will definitely order again. The salad was good wish it were more but it was a lunch combo so not complaining at all. Their ginger salad dressing was amazing.“

“This is a really nice breakfast/brunch spot. It's often packed so there may be a wait time and you should plan for once just in case but it's never too noisy for how busy it is. The staff is always lovely. The food matches the price point which isn't always the case on the Main Line. The food is consistently the same and I have found no complaints. I get what I expect every time so I'm always happy here. A small stack of pancakes is more than enough for one person. Trust me! I love getting blueberry banana pancakes with turkey sausage here. Hits the spot every time!Parking: Good luck. Be patient. Parking in the area can be a real pain. Best to go behind the building and try to find some back street parking or park in the lot down a block next to Bella Italia if you can find a spot. There's a garage nearby but I personally don't use it. I just park a couple blocks down the street.Kid-friendliness: A very kid friendly menu!!Wheelchair accessibility: It's a ramp to get into the restaurant so it should be wheelchair accessible at the front door. No stairs. Can drop off at the front door as well.“

“I grew up in New Jersey and consider myself a pizza snob. When I moved to Philly, I thought that they couldn’t do pizza right. I was wrong. Not only is Pizza L’Angolo a wonderful experience, but it is very legitimately the best pizza I have ever had. We moved from Manayunk and still make an hour drive to get it. This place will change your standards for pizza. I can’t say enough good things about this place.“

From the hostess who seemed lost as to where to put us to the server who walked past our table multiple times without checking on us, it was very frustrating. Our drink order (wine and a cocktail) took 20 minutes and the server didn't bother to come back and take our food order in that time. The food came out quickly after we ordered, but at the end of the meal, the waiter dropped the check without asking if we wanted dessert. Everyone was friendly enough but ineffective.“

They are most famous for their house made tortilla chips and pico de salsa (with generous portions of avocado). They also recently opened fresh brick oven pizza to die for! They have good standarts of food preparations, always in gloves, always fresh products, you can see the whole process of preparation and prices are very reasonable. 5/5! “I ordered food for 9 people from this restaurant for my mother-in-law's 97th birthday party! The artisanal pizzas and varied salads were delicious. Sandwiches and fish and chips were yummy! Their website said they weren't able to deliver to my area about 10 miles away, but when I called, the manager said delivery would be no problem! They were so accommodating and the food was wonderful!“

Just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend the milk buns and shishito peppers. Order a few dishes, as the format is small plates. While not a large menu, plenty of variety too sample. Atmosphere: There is indoor seating for around 15 people, though most people seem to take their bowls and eat elsewhere. You walk through the line and can select the sides / mains you would like, and whether you would like a grain or salad base. Food: I like the variety of options, especially their sweet potato and broccoli! I also appreciate how much protein they typically give, which makes for a much more filling lunch. Overall: 4/5 - great option for a quick lunch, and the food is solid for this type of meal!“

“Tried for the first time yesterday. Ordered 4 combo meals that comes with fries and a can soda. Price wise their combos are $3-$4 cheaper than Wingstop. We tried the garlic parm, hot, Cajun, and hot lemon pepper. First the fries that come with the combo are crinkle cut style and you get a good portion and they were probably the best fries I've had compared to some of the other pizza places or restaurants that serve fries. They were huge and cooked to perfection. The flavor of all the wings were good and were seasoned and sauced evenly. My only negative would be on one of the combos we got an extra small drum and for my wings I think they were fried a little too hard for my taste. also I ordered my combo with shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was good but the shrimp were on the smallish side. But overall good value for your money and great tasting wings and the portion and crispness of fries were a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this place for your Wingstop alternative. I will be ordering from here again.“

Their portion size is amazing compared to their competitors saladworks, cava and greens. I customized my salad to what I like it comes with bread and then I added the cookie which was delicious:) I met the owner/manager who was willing to help people learn how to order and even helped clean up a table.The atmosphere is a quick healthy option with a warm feel. You can make two salads out of your meal!!“
