“My wife and I had Lunch there today … Sara our server was her 1st day on the job so wanted to give her kudos how well she handled the crowd … had great lunch… tried the pulled pork and Mac cheese… it was plentiful and delicious…. Finished up with deep fried Oreo.. yum yum…Don’t forget deep fried Zucchini.. for a light starter…. Good job to all staff!!“

“Went there this morning with my FIL, we each got 2 eggs hash browns sausage and toast. My FIL also got a piece of cake to go. The bill came to $26, same thing at Kings sans the cake comes to $22., so same pricing. The food was great and quite a lot. We had a young girl as our waitress, greeted us as soon as we walked in, checked on us throughout our meal, never had to ask for anything. We will definitely be back.“

“Not only is this place inexpensive, the breakfast can't be beat. They use fresh, not frozen potatoes, and the bacon is the same as you would use at home, not what you would find at Denny's or the diner in Lower Burrell. Those places use bacon that's thin enough to see through.“

“The servers here are great. Both ladies that took care of us were very friendly and made great suggestions. The food is great and they have a huge selection. Highly recommend. One thing to note is the steep stairs you have to climb to get to the main entrance. This may be difficult for a handicap person.“

Everyone knows Burrell Inn is the best.It's connected to a bar so you get some cigarette smell, but still worth it.This last time we ate outside in the little courtyard. It's cozy out there and fun. Plus you avoid the bar smoke.If you're looking for the best chicken wings, look no farther.You won't leave hungry.“

“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

“Ajs has been around forever and I can remember going there as a child. The food has always been good. Service is usually good. The 4 stars is due to atmosphere. It's very small and there's always a wait at dinner time. I don't particularly care to be that close to other patrons at dinner but that's just my personal preference. If it weren't for this I'd rate a 5.“

“I was pleasantly surprised. My husband got two of the specials - beef vegetable soup (which tasted very close to my home made beef vegetable soup) and the DK mushroom Swiss burger. I had the battered onion rings and western burger. So much food, I took home left overs. “Always love Bob's. I've never been to the other locations, but the Tarentum location has never been a disappointment. Staff is always friendly & helpful. I always get the chicken salad (not Bob's way). In fact, this is one of my favorite chicken salads! I do not like celery, or anything else that crunches when you bite it, so I love that the 'crunchies' are chopped tiny, so they don't really crunch when I eat it. My husband has tried several (all Bob's way), and all have been good.“

“It was very consistent great food and service at one point.. but the last handful of times, the food has tasted old. Had my husband get me a cup of chicken noodle soup today as I am feeling ill. There was barely any chicken, NO vegetables in it whatsoever and full of old strange tasting noodles. The fries also left a very odd aftertaste too. Not sure why in the world they have crinkle fries... Gross!“

“We came with a group of 8 (including 3 young boys). The server was fantastic and personable. She kept the drinks full for everyone, up to the very end. The food was hot when it came to the table, so kutos to the cooks. The food was great!!!!!

“They work hard very rarely they need to change the carbonation in the beer but that just means you get one on the house and if anything is not cooked to your exact taste no-questions-asked they will make sure you're happy lovely people hard-working local business owners

“It was a nice little place. I dont do large crowds and this place definitely isnt big enough to get giant crowds, tho I could see it getting packed. Bartender Kelly was fantastic, talkative & funny. She's a very sweet lady. The crowd was small, Met a few nice ppl and Kelly had my back when sketchy men approached me. I'd def go back and reccomend to those looking for a soft non wild crowd to just socialize. Thanks for the great experience on my 1st time out alone and 1st out in years!!“

Every seat had a good view of a tv with the football game on. Staff was friendly, and they even had some free pizza at halftime (during the steeler game) which was also delicious.“
