“Came in tonight for a meal and there was a wait so we asked if we could sit at the bar. We were told that there is no dining at the bar but we could sit and have a drink. So we waited but after about a half hour, we saw a large tray walked into the bar and two people were served food. I approached the hostess who said no one was allowed to eat at the bar but yet people were. This is horrible. We’ve been coming here for 20+ years but this was 100% not cool.“

“Cool new market in Bethlehem! Most of the selection at the shop contains snacks, which is convenient for the youth and the increasing appeal of East Asian goods in the United States. There are interesting selections of tea, candies, ice cream, produce, and vegetarian meat substitutes like tofu, seitan, and bean curd. The staff members were kind, swift at their jobs, and when I went, they were giving out free calendars that are cute and conveniently sized. Also, the prices were very rare for the rapidly expanding south-side of Bethlehem. Most items I saw seemed to be under $10, including what seemed to be the popular Nattō beans for only 99¢.“

The food is always consistent. Meaning you won’t get it a different flavor tomorrow then you will today. “My go to for take out food. Even when busy, the food is ready in 30 minutes or less. The portions are generous especially for the prices in comparison to everything else out there. I have ordered from them numerous times in the food is consistent. Is it find dining, no. But it is very good take out Chinese food.

My only gripe is that they do not have a website where their menu is easily accessible for take out orders. The Google photos are ones taken from people's cell phone and are difficult to see. As such, I attached some photos that a higher resolution and more clear in hopes that it could help people out. Naturally, the prices may change but at least an interested customer could see what items they have on her menu to call in an order. Trust me, you will not be let down.“

“I typically from here through door dash. So the only rating I can give is on the food. I'm a creature of habit and get the same exact thing every time. Beef and broccoli we pfr, egg roll and crab Rangoon. Everything is very tasty. Eggrolls are a bit bigger than what you get elsewhere which I love. Rangoons are pretty standard. They're a little skimpy with the beef. The only thing I'm kind of iffy about is the pfr.... There's a different taste that I can't put my finger on. Chinese 5 spice maybe? You can definitely taste the clove which I don't hate.

“I like this place. I have always liked this place under all it's various incarnations over the years and generations.

The staff are good people who work hard and efficiently. They are also very passionate about their more traditional part of the menu and will gladly walk you through it with enthusiasm.

The inside dining room is better than the average establishment of this sort. It is always clean and meets it's needs.

“I'm from out of town and I discovered Ocean Buffet on Google Maps and I gave it a try on Thursday August 6, 2026. They had a good selection of my favorites which I was pleased. Plenty of seafood selections like shrimp and white fish. Lots of chicken: chicken this and chicken that. All very tasty. Chocolate ice cream for desert too. “I ordered take out today as a new customer and I had a really great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. Delivery was surprisingly fast and I barely had to wait at all. The delivery driver was also incredibly friendly and made the experience even better.

“Lui's house is an Alkentown staple its been around a long time taking care of the west end of Allentown. I always get the boneless spare ribs. They are saucy and very juicy and not dried out like other places. They have really good sushomi there too. I was recently in there and the girl was so nice thank you for great service. Go try their barbecue boneless spare ribs for dinner combination for about 15 dollars.“

“We tried this place for the first time and the food was very good. I ordered the fried scallops and vegi fried rice and my husband got wings and rice. The broccoli in the rice was tender and the rice was fluffy. I do not like totally raw or very under cooked broccoli with my rice so I was a very pleased. The fried scallops were really good and even though they are sold as an appetizer, you get 10 so they are filling.The lady who was assisting us was very kind and we will definitely be going back! The location is small, so it is more of an order and take home or have delivered kind of place but they do have one small area with a bar top and a couple bar stools to sit while you wait“
