“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“This was my third time at Ground Provisions over the past 6 months and I'm a big fan! I've thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course menu with the wine pairing in the dining room and at the Chef Counter. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. As much as I loved the little store, I appreciate the extra space they put in for dining now. I hope it continues to do well. So happy there is a fine dining option locally for vegan fare.“

“Took the 25 minute drive for our first experience and now I'm hooked. I can see why they sell out of dough each day and keep a consistent customer base. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. Even got to talk to the owner and one of the employees. Seem like great people. Now to the pizza! We got 3 and 2 of them made it home. That was probably the best margarita pizza I've ever had and I've had many. That pizza was damn good. Almost certain I ate it in about 10 minutes. I do suggest eating it onsite, right out of the oven but we got them home and they were still good. We will definitely be returning. I will gladly take that drive for that pizza. For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. “My experience on Concord Pike was wonderful. If I ever need help with the Kiosk they immediately help. Wish the boxes for food were a little larger but I always enjoy my food. “I arrived at the restaurant in the early afternoon, and it was relatively quiet. I was offered the special Restaurant Week menu, which was a great concept and offered excellent value.

Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Each dish was unique, and I genuinely enjoyed the entire meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The only downside was the lighting. The restaurant was already quite dim, and at one point they lowered the blinds, making it even darker which took away a bit from the overall experience“

It is best to order ahead so when you get to the the restaurant it is ready. This is authentic Puerto Rican food and takes a little time. They get busy fast because of the deliciousness and soul this local owned business brings to the community.
