“Excellent food, wonderful people and great value! Quaint litte GEM! We tried Pizza, Pasta, Chicken parmesan, Alfredo Carbonara, Italian Platter (lasagna, stuffed shells, manicotti, ravioli, all covered in sauce and cheese), garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks, salad and warm buttered rolls. Everything was delicious with large portions. We drove an hour away from home and it was well worth the trip. We were graciously taken care of with amazing customer service! We look forward to going back and trying more items from their extensive menu!!! Everything was fantastic!!!“

“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

The staff were incredibly accommodating — the General Manager even came out personally to discuss gluten-free preparation and ensure everything would be handled safely. That level of care really stood out.

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and every team member we interacted with was friendly and pleasant. It was a comfortable, stress-free meal, which was exactly what we needed after a long day of travel.

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. “This is my pizza place. Everyone has their choice, and this one is mine. Florence serves a fantastic cheese pizza with a slightly crispy crust with a perfect balance of sauce and cheese. They don't spoil their cheese pizza with provolone and have a great sauce that isn't sweet and holds on the pizza perfectly.

Florence also offers other food that is great. Their pesto margarita was a wonderful change of pace with a homemade pesto sauce lovely globs of mozz.

The choices of 5 sizes of pizza allow you to get a small pie if it is just you at home or a jumbo pie that feeds the whole family.

Their store is small up front, but they make up for it with some of the nicest folks in Pittsburgh. New to the area, they are loving the town here and quickly making themselves at home here in the North Hills.

“We stopped here with my son and his fiancé to plan food for their reception and eat. It’s their favorite restaurant. The food was yummy, our server was excellent, and we got our catering squared away! They chose Olive Garden since there is a great variety for vegetarians and carnivores. Her side is all vegetarians, while ours is primarily carnivores. The pasta stations worked great for this! Plus, the lasagna is an add on vegetarian option. Plenty of salad and breadsticks and the menu was set perfectly!

“Where do I start? Everything was amazing from beginning to end. I had reservations at Tambellini‘s in Highland Park. But the owner decided they weren’t busy enough that evening so they called me an hour before and canceled on me. I scrambled to find somewhere for my 10-year-old daughter and I to go After her school dance. I called this place and they said “don’t worry about anything, come on in and we’ll take care of you.” We ended up chatting with some other customers and the staff. It was great. My daughter was all smiles the whole time. The dining room is super small and very intimate. Everybody’s friendly, the owner was great, and the chef was awesome. definitely put this place on your list of places to try. Support local!“

This was my first time picking up a pizza to-go, and I had a really good experience. The lady at the counter was very nice and welcoming. She took the time to explain that on Tuesdays and Thursdays, their traditional medium pizzas are just $9.99—which is a great deal!

The place also has a bar and seating area if you want to dine in. The atmosphere feels authentic and cozy, definitely somewhere I'd consider eating in next time. Looking forward to trying more from their menu!“

She then showed me my order slip that showed when i ordered. Obviously the Sicilian pizza wasn’t the issue since it was done and ready. They forgot to make the other item and I got yelled at. “We often order delivery from here and are always impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity, and the speed of delivery. Tonight it was chicken parmigiana with angel hair and a side salad with fried zucchini as an appetizer for me, while my dad did the build-your-own-pasta with gnocchi and carbanara (bacon, mushroom cream) sauce and caesar salad. They said it would be an hour and it was only 30 minutes. I don't know how the fried zucchini travels and still arrives crispy, but they do it, and it's awesome, large slices, very generous, like a whole zucchini, with crisp, though not too thick, breading. It does not include a dip, only lemon wedges, but I have ranch dressing here. The chicken parmigiana was two large breasts, breaded, moist, and smothered in sauce and cheese. The side salads are generous with a thick slice of cucumber, grape tomato, red onion, and lettuce (the caesar - not real authentic but good - with croutons, black olives, grape tomatoes, lettuce, and parm cheese). We are never disappointed and always have leftovers. The one time something was wrong with our order, they promptly came back with what was missing and gave us a credit. Try the focaccia pizzas for a week's worth of great food! Highly recommended!!!“

There are also homemade baked goods and a few grocery items! No delivery closes daily at 6pm and closed Sunday so they can "enjoy their granddaughter"!
