“Food has been outstanding for many years. Creative, eclectic and routinely delicious. Hours of operation took a real hit from COVID and it has been a gradual bounce-back. Bartenders are beloved in community. It’s a Downingtown staple. And as the name says, it’s right across the street from the Amtrak/SEPTA station. If you grab a table next to the window looking out on Lancaster Ave., you can see your train roll up and walk 100 feet to hop on.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! We stopped during a random trip to go see a cow at a local farm through our daughters school. This was a completely random stop for food and we didn't go wrong. “I think they are off to a good start. The menu seemed limited but I did hear they were updating this. The fried pickles were awesome and a very large portion. My son absolutely loved the chicken and biscuits and said it was the best he ever had. The wings were just average and needed more sauce but had potentialto be a 5. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Its really large inside and great for watching football, hanging out with a group of friends, or even having an event or party.“

“My boyfriend and I drove from MA to PA in April and we stopped at Ron’s on the first night before continuing our drive to our place to stay in Akron. We walked in and it was busy (Friday night at dinner time to be expected). We waited not long and grabbed two seats at the bar. The bartenders were all attentive, friendly and gave great recommendation. We shared Supersticks and Chicken Parm and a dessert to go. The food was incredible and great size portions. We loved it so much we ended up going back into town Sunday night instead of trying somewhere new because we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to try something else. The second night we shared the Nachos, a Buffalo Chicken Stromboli and French Onion Soup. It was equally as good and enjoyable as the first night and we sat in the dining room this time and the waitress was just as great as the bartenders! Now we say every weekend that we are going to drive to PA and stay the night just so we can go eat at Ron’s(one day we won’t be joking). Thank you for the amazing food, service and memories!
