“Common bar food, but with nice twists in ingredients. I got the pulled pork with white Alabama sauce. BIG sandwich! Don’t order unless hungry. Same for the burgers. Fries are skin on fresh made. Good but all three of us said it was salty — they use rock salt; classy but I’m a bit sensitive to salt. The Root Down NEIPA was light with fruity scent. Very good! 13 beers on tap. A little noisy; small place. Nearly all food made fresh on premises, and it shows.“

He says it is a kid friendly place, yet, a well behaved child on the dancefloor was outside of his liking during his night out drinking with the wife apparently. His delivery of telling me he doesn't want my child on the dancefloor, followed by lies was unacceptable. Its ashame because the staff there is Phenomenal. He would be better off allowing his manager Kate do the talking if he doesn't like something in his drunken pugnacious state.“

Patty and John are the most amazing people in the entire world and when you’re in there, you actually feel like family! “We love going to liberty union but it would be nice if it stated some where that you can only use gift cards at the location they are bought at. I received a gift card for Liberty Union that was purchased in Kimberton and went to the Chester Springs location only to find out it can’t be use there. That should be stated at purchase so there is no confusion.“

French toast was delicious hubby loved his fish and grits. This might just become a regular part of our weekend breakfasts.“

“I have never been in a Honey Baked Ham before, but I got a gift card for Christmas. The staff (Two teens and an older gentleman) were very helpful and patient explaining the menu to me. My hunch is this is a family run franchise. I grabbed two turkey breasts, one roasted and one smoked for $90 total. So far my family has tried the smoked turkey. The staff said it would tastes very similar to honey smoked ham and they were right. It was very delicious. If I didn’t eat pork the smoked turkey would be a great alternative. The trip from Lancaster was worth it and will definitely be back.“

“The Long Way Home hosted my husband’s 50th birthday party this weekend. They did such a great job from the room to the food to the service! It was awesome. We had 50 people in the Club Room, which is lovely and charming. They were so accommodating with my questions and requests and never made me feel badly for asking silly things! The server was amazing; she helped with setup, decorations, advice on table placement, checked in on the food, bar tab, cleanup and leftovers. It was a wonderful time and I highly recommend using The Long Way Home. The prices were fantastic also!“
