The food is delicious (so I actually enjoy it, unlike meals from well-known competitors), it's healthier and cheaper than all the takeout I used to live on, and it saves me tons of time I would spend thinking about, shopping for, and cooking food. I usually get items by the pound but the pre-made meals are solid too. Can't recommend them enough, honestly.“

“We got married at Ballroom at the Ben this past February, and it was truly the best day of our lives! From the moment we first walked in, we fell in love with the stunning venue and the incredible staff.

We had the pleasure of working with Daria, who was absolutely amazing — so kind, supportive, and attentive every step of the way. She made the entire planning process feel effortless, and even without a wedding planner, I felt completely organized and at ease thanks to her guidance.

On the day of, everything exceeded our expectations. Ott, the maître d’, was phenomenal — he orchestrated the entire evening flawlessly, and not a single detail was overlooked. To this day, our guests still tell us it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended. They said the venue was beautiful, the food was out of this world and the way the wedding flowed was amazing.

I toured all the Finley and Cescaphe venues before making a decision, and I would choose Ballroom at the Ben a hundred times over. The team is simply the best — so professional, talented, and passionate about what they do. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! “For my daughter’s wedding we were looking for a wood fired pizza truck. The ones we loved weren’t available and we booked Red Stone Pizza Truck sight unseen. I ran into them later at a food truck festival, introduced myself, and they gave me pizza to try—it was amazing and I breathed a sigh of relief that we chose wisely. Fast forward to June 17, day of wedding, and I was nervous—would people have to wait too long for pizza, did we choose types people would enjoy? Would the bacon wrapped scallops be a hit or miss (you know how that goes). Happy to say that everything was a hit! Jessica was easy to work with and the team there that day was wonderful! No one ever had to wait for pizza, they served it up and had another hot one ready to go. Everyone was so nice and customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced! I had several people tell me how good the pizza was and some even said it was the best pizza they’d ever had! Some said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! “Had a wedding last weekend using Brulee Catering. We had a sit down dinner for 194 guests, I didn't have high expectations for the food, but I was very wrong. Filet and salmon were selected as entrees and they were delicious. The filet and salmon entrees weren't overdone and they weren't cold. Great job done by Brulee. The appetizers were outstanding also. “We chose Cricket Catering for our daughter’s wedding at the Duportail House - Chesterbrook the weekend of 10/19/24. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the food was. Owner/operator Drew was so easy to work with. When we first went to his facility for a tasting we were shocked by the amount of and the variety of the foods he served us, all at no cost. We sampled everything from appetizers to desserts. We chose a buffet style service which included a taco/fajita bar as well as three other entrees and side dishes. Drew was also very attentive to our guests with dietary issues. Items which were gluten free were clearly labeled as such. At the last minute we informed him of our need for two vegan meals which he prepared and served directly to those guests! What added to the event was his wonderful staff. The servers were so polite, warm, and friendly. We fell in love with them and especially the bartender!! She was the best!! Drew was also very accommodating with allowing us to bring in our own desserts, which included a waffle and ice cream food truck. Most caterers would not allow such things. Planning a wedding can be very anxiety producing, but Drew made the catering part of it as easy as can be. The guests are still raving about the food!“

“Moved 4 hours away from Bucks County in 2020, and the hoagies here are pathetic. Had to come back for a specialist appointment yesterday, and asked friends, where can I get a good hoagie in Newtown Square. A Cut Above Deli was the ONLY recommendation, and they were 100% right! The hoagie was ready on time, wrapped in four sheets of paper, and was solid, hefty. The countermen were friendly and genuine. $15 for a "regular" seemed steep, but I was judging them by the standards of lesser sandwiches; once I opened it and got a bite, I realized it was a fair price. I just had the other half for breakfast, and it's gonna be a good day! Full marks, A Cut Above!“

“My daughter hosted her wedding reception there on July 26th 2025. It is a spacious venue, well-lit with more than the basic accoutrements. Ample parking which is a huge plus! Facilities , mirrors, etc spotless. There was no shortage of staff who were: courteous, responsive, and professional. The starmaid, Dominique handled all guests with ease. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was and the choice of food options. I asked a staffer if the food was prepared with Love and she said always 😂. She later came back to ask if she was right and I told her ‘it was delicious, you were telling the truth’. An all-around great experience. “Daniel Israel catered our Friday night Shabbat dinner; it was outstanding. 100% Glatt Kosher. We chose a vegan , Israeli style dinner, as many guests were vegan or vegetarian, plus it was June, and very hot outside. What a fabulous, tasty, fresh, and colorful meal. Daniel was a pleasure to work with, and always communicated immediately to all of our million requests. His staff were professional, timely, and all smiles. The set up was tasteful with flowers, some greenery, and no fuss details. I cannot recommend Daniel more highly; he made our simcha complete and worry free. We also had a lot of left-overs, which we divided between our children, and ate heartily for a week!!
Standouts: Gazpacho, home made chummus, moist falafel, wild rice with mushrooms, tabouli with pomegranate (and other lovely things!), apple cobbler.
