“Was looking for a new place to take the fam for my dad's birthday and stumbled across this place after a little research. It's a little outside of downtown Pittsburgh which is what we wanted because navigating and parking was easy ?As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere. Super cool place and hadn't seen anything like it before. It gave a super cool vibe. I also put in a reservation for 11 and we ended up in a private room - didn't ask for it - but more than appreciated that we were kind of closed off in our own space ?Our server was really friendly and on top of everything...giving us details on specials, super on point with service in general, and overall gave an awesome experience. I wish I remembered his name to give a shout-out because I like to give credit where credit is due ?I ordered a full meal here - I will say the clam chowder was ok...not bad but nothing spectacular but I'm still giving 5 stars for everything else I stated above and the rest of the food I ordered. I also got shrimp wontons, which I wish I took a picture cause they were unique and texture was on point and flavor, especially the sauce was great. My main course was there cottage pie, their spin off shepherds pie but with a super flavorful gravy and shaved ribeye with mashed potatoes on top. Everyone at the table wanted it as soon as it arrived and it was awesome! I got a slice of chocolate cake to go which was also really good too ?I'd definitely come back for the atmosphere and to try more of their menu options because I don't think I'd be disappointed - Thank you for a great evening especially on my dad's birthday ?“

I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.“

“Was very disappointed in the meat lover's Flatbread. It tasted like tomato paste for the sauce and the meat has no flavor. It was plain. I suggest to anyone don't get it. My fiancée had thier Italian hoagie which he felt bad and gave me half of his sandwich to eat. The bartender did ask if I liked it. I did let him know about the pizza not being too good. He just looked and didn't say anything and walked away. I'll still come here. But that flat bread has to go. I don't even see how that one is on the menu! Everything else so far I tasted from there is good.“

“This is one of those places where absolutely everything on the menu is delicious. In my opinion, the best wings in Pittsburgh! You must try the Candy Pepper ? . Be aware, this is a smoking establishment, so, if that bothers you... Other highlights are the Butter Steak and the loaded fries! Yummmmmmm!Parking: Parking is on street, but this is just above a small park area with plenty of spots since no houses.Kid-friendliness: Not Kid friendly. 21+“

“NGL this grilled cheese - cheese burg combo was a dream. If you ever thought to yourself, "this burger could use a grilled cheese," "this grilled cheese could use a burger" or never thought any of those in your life but love GOUD cheesy food- this one is for you. The Texas toast (don't know if that's what it was but that's what it felt like) was buttered to the gawds above. Ruggers knows the CTS (cheese to sando) ratio and went above and beyond the call of duty. The burg patty was flavorful itself and held its own up next to the overflowing cheese mountain that surrounded it. The fries were a perfectly salted addition to the sando. It was as mouthwateringly delicious as it looks and #GOUDapproved from all angles over here. Mondays are also taco night so you gotta pick up a few tacos SIGNATURE! Grilled Cheeseburgher Our 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with American, Mozzarella, and Swiss. But with a burgher patty in the middle. Substitute our Banzo Burgher patty to make it vegetarian. $11“

“Great neighborhood gem here. If you have a hankering for a Pittsburgh style fish sandwich, this is the place to visit if you pass by.Friendly folks, warm atmosphere, and great beers and outstanding fish sandwiches.Ordered two fish sandwiches three quarters pound of fish on each sandwich(you will not be hungry after eating those of these) and there’s definitely enough left over for a third. Served steaming hot, crisp batter, and tender fish on a fresh hoagie bun. Tartar sauce was very tasty as well - with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and yes a strong dash of hot sauce. Definitely got my fried fish fix (5 out of 5). If were to provide any critique maybe the bun could have been toasted a bit more to hold up to the condiments - however, while a bit challenging to manage eating like a sandwich, entire time I was eating the sandwich I had a big smile on my face. Will be back again for the fish!!! …. And maybe the sample a few other things. “D's has made all of my hot dog dreams come true. You can build your own hot dog or choose from a list of delicious combinations. My go to is the mason Dixon, topped with chili and coleslaw. They also have a wide selection of beer and other bar foods but we keeping coming back for the hot dogs.“

“Reserved deck area for a meeting/working dinner. Meal was very enjoyable. So much more I want to try on the menu, so will go back. Not the best meeting space, though. Lots of noise echo and not all of the wall plugs were working for chargers. But that won't keep me from eating there again. Food was delish!!“

“We stopped for dinner 430ish on a Friday, the place was very clean and friendly. The menu was a specialized menu with a bunch of customer recommended #1s, it was very hard to choose what meals we would be selecting off the menu due to the whole menu was packed with excellent dinner choices. I settled for the Meatloaf special off the house special board (Amazing), and my wife chose the Chicken Picata (Amazing), these are two of most recommended dinner choices by the house and a few friends of ours. We both ordered the House Merlot with dinner which was a good choice on our part (perfect) along with the wine the house places a large flip top bottle of ice cold water on your table for you to drink at your will. Paired with our meals were a side of mashed potatoes and cooked carrots with a side salad (all were perfect). If all of this amazing meal wasn't enough, we had to order the Zattola homemade ice cream over the house made brownie for dessert... everything was way to good to not finish... We left this place absolutely stuffed, and pleasantly pleased with our experience... one side note I would have to say if you chose to go there, please have a conversation with your servers and staff, we spoke to an older gentlemen who I still don't believe he is in his 70s, he was one the most kind, and personable staff I've ever encountered at a restaurant, he made us feel like family and like he knew us for ever, he stated how the food is prepared and the history of the recipes, you could tell he absolutely loves this place along with the owners and he firmly believes in the quality this place provides. The food was definitely enough for us to go back, but just having the small interactions with the gentleman makes me feel that we will absolutely go back... Im sure anyone who has been to this place and has interacted with this gentlemen could probably attest to what I'm saying, as he spoke to everyone... the world needs more people like him in it!!! “Best pulled pork sandwich I have probably ever had! mac & cheese was delicious as well. One of my friends got a bacon cheeseburger. She said it was so good. Service was great. I would recommend. “This bar is located in Sheraden and is a great local place! My lady friend wanted to hit the place as we're moving to Sheraden and she wanted the owner to know that she's returning to the area. The owner is a great guy! The bar has been there 80 years. Although the decor is dated, the place is clean and neat. The restrooms are clean too. We got lunch. I got the bacon burger with Swiss cheese instead of American. My lady got wing dings. We had two rounds of drinks (I was drinking IC Light and Red Stag doubles and she was drinking draft Coors Light. The food was excellent a were the drinks. All in, I spent about $30“

“Went to wing night. Tried 3 sauces. Gold (my personal favorite) honey jalapeño and chipotle bbq. We had the bbq chicken wrap and a sweet and spicy burger ( that was the burger of the month). Some of the best bar food in the 412. Crispy wings. Sauces were original and great. Side was charred Brussels sprouts that were garlicky and a great option. Homemade ranch and blue cheese. Everything here is made in house. Makes 100% difference. Alexa was our waitress and she was terrific. The bar and restaurant were packed and she was very busy. She smiled and talked to everyone as she filled the tables with food and drinks. The kitchen was jamming but they worked seamlessly together. A refreshing display of synergy in the post COVID world. “We got takeout and it was great. Really good burgers and wings. The weekly beer specials on the wall give me a reason to go back. Morgan was super friendly. When I asked about her favorites she said any of the steak sandwiches or the BLT in the summer. She also helped me to get my bags to the car“

“Super confusing at first having two very similar menus next door to eachother. Then while eating realized one spot is a chippie and the other a pub The scotch egg was great. I'd prefer a soft yolk but have only had one like that once in 25 years. So more that happily accepted. Bangers and mash were in fact banging. I'd definitely eat here again“
