“It was our first time trying the Sumneytown Hotel. Hands down amazing! The ambience was relaxing, and the building is beautiful. The food and service were phenomenal! The flavors of the food just went together so well and the presentation was beautiful! Also, the clams were cleaned thoroughly, not grainy at all! Great wine options too. Our server, Jamie, was very nice and extremely attentive. Her service was top notch. She gave very good recommendations on the food and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming here for flavorful food, a relaxing night, incredible service and good drinks! We will be back! “We had The Bally Hotel cater my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday and the food was excellent and plentiful! The owner was super easy to work with and accommodating with what we wanted for the menu. They provided us with the chafing dishes which kept our food warm until we ate which was almost an hour and a half after we picked it up. The food was also perfectly packed so there were no issues with any spilling during transport. Would highly recommend having The Bally Hotel cater your next event. You won’t be disappointed!“

“I want say that my expectations were fully exceeded by my visit on Tuesday (12/9) to TGIF (Quakertown). I found an old gift card and brought it into see if it still had value. The early mid day manager could not have been nicer in getting me set up with the full value of my card. We returned later that evening and had a terrific waitress who took great care and enthusiasm during our visit. The food was perfectly prepared , steak exactly cooked as ordered, fresh al dente broccoli and well seasoned rice. My dining partner enjoyed the generously portioned Cobb salad. All in all a great experience.“

It's not your ordinary burger and I believe they said it was made with 3 different meats. So juicy and just the best burger I have ever had in my opinion. “We recently hosted a surprise party at the 1750 Grill inside the Holiday Inn Kulpsville, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were flexible with everything we needed and even helped come up with solutions so the event could run exactly the way we envisioned.

One of the things we appreciated most was how they allowed us to use the room freely as long as we took care of it. They really let us “do our thing,” which made the setup and overall flow of the party so much easier and more enjoyable.

The space itself was perfect — private, with doors we could close so the event felt intimate and just for our group. Their pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and the quality of the venue.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend the 1750 Grill for anyone looking to host an event. The combination of flexibility, great service, and a private, comfortable space made our surprise party a success!“

“We had a lovely time at the Duck Inn tonight! Our server, Kyleigh D, was so accommodating and didn't even blink when I needed to change an order. The staff all around was lovely, even when some miserable lady caused a scene and embarrassed herself. They handled it very professionally. My kiddo loved going down to the water to see the ducks and stand on the dock. The food was good bar fare and we were seated in a quieter area which worked out well with the kids. “Great food served with a side of excellent service! Abby was phenomenal. She has a warm and friendly personality but more significantly, a tremendous sense of humor. When I get the feeling a server can handle my wackiness, when I ask for honey mustard for my fries, I specify “mustard honey.” She smiled and said Sure!

My in-laws got their usual, a White Russian sandwich and a burger. My wife got a French Dip type of sandwich, and I ordered a French Onion Soup with a side of curly fries. When Abby brought out our food she saved mine for last, and she said “here’s your mustard honey.” She sat down a bottle of honey and a bottle of mustard. The four of us busted up laughing because the joker got PUNKED! But yes, I did get the real thing.

As usual our food was served hot and was very tasty. It wasn’t just punking me that made me appreciate her. Abby truly enjoys people, which reflects on the exceptional level of service she provides. Servers like Abby are rare these days, and I trust management will pass on our complements. And I hope I spelled her name correctly because it could be Abbie. Either way she rocks!

The bread was soft with just a little chew, and the chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry at all, which happens a lot with buffalo chicken cheesesteaks. Didn’t really talk to the staff much, but they were nice. They didn’t bother us, but also didn’t ignore us either, which I actually liked. The place has a nice little sports vibe too.

“At first glance, the Palm looks like what could best be described as your typical country dive bar - which it sort of is, but with some pleasant enhancements. The decor in the bar area is unique, there is a quote regarding the love of music overhead as you walk through to the traditional seating. I can't explain the allure of the place exactly, only that it's got that "slowed down" vibe that seems to be lost in a world of 2025 chain bars/gastropubs. Admittedly, I have always been a sucker for places like this - but the Palm did not disappoint. We were a party of 5, my wife, myself, our three kids (12, 7, 3) and while we were the only family with young kids in there at the time (and my 3-year-old was absolutely post-nap second energy wind) nobody seemed to mind. They have a chalkboard with daily soup specials that looked like someone took the time to make fancy. The food was typical of a bar, I wouldn't say it was out of this world (I had the diablo burger) but it was above-average for a bar setting. My daughter had the kids burger which was sort of lack-lustre, my wife had a roast beef sandwich (complete with sides of horseradish and Au Jus) which was not only massive, but "really really good" and let me tell you she's the food critic between us. I liked that the floors are sort of worn, it aided in the atmosphere feeling like your local family pub. Service was great, and that's considering that the bartender was alone, with 6-8 people at the bar, and probably another 12-15 people seated at the table. She was a rock star and absolutely the reason we will be back. I liked this place, a lot - give it a try!“
