“Went in for breakfast today with my partner. It was small, cute and definitely a small town vibe. Food took extra time but it was well worth the wait and the staff was so kind. We didn’t mind the wait at all. We actually didn’t even notice because we were enjoying our time out. Thanks for the great meal!“

“Dobb's has been around for many years. The food is 'home-cooked' style, very tasty, portions are more than enough, and wait staff is excellent. Owner should put some money into refurbishing the interior because, though clean, it shows signs of being very tired with worn carpeting and holes in bench seats.“

“Busy Bee Cafe is exceptional! The food is homemade and delicious! April and Maddie provide great service with a friendly face! I highly recommend the Cinnamon Buns, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and Broccoli Cheddar soup! They have coloring pages and puzzles available for kiddos! My friends and I love meeting here for lunch dates! Great breakfast spot too! The bee theme is so welcoming and cozzzzy! 🐝 Busy Bee is an excellent experience every time! 🙂“

“Amazing breakfasts. Omelets are great, I usually get, I think it's called a breakfast bowl. Home fries, eggs, sausage and cheese all cooked together. Speaking of home fries, these are the best around and second place isn't even close. Slow cooked on the griddle I could make a meal out of them alone.
As far as there being no wifi, there is very good cellular service there. Use your phone as a Hotspot, it's 2026 man! Sounds like somebody just wanted Starbucks and wanted to trash the small town feel.“

But a must share- I Ordered takeout this past Friday for Lent (haddock fish fry served with mac&cheese!) pretty large serving in my opinion for myself, made a little sandwich with the rest of my fish for lunch the next day and had leftover Mac& cheese. Also ordered the Pancho #14 for the next day and wow! It was a blast from the past! Everything was delicious, picked the Mac & Potato salad as sides, very good also. Cooking for a living and then for the family every day- felt great to grab food down the road and have a nice relaxing weekend!“

“Went to Maria’s Pizza & Wings we got there right before closing and were tired from a long drive. She let my small child watch YouTube on the TV and was super kind to him.

The pizza was the absolute best. The Garlic Parmesan wings were to die for. I live far away but if I’m ever back in the area I will be returning! Thanks Maria!

Kid-friendliness: Maria was very kind to my 4 year old son. He was excited to show her some of his toys and ask her questions and she was patient and friendly. He also loved her pizza and he is a very picky eater!“

“I brought a group of 20 cyclists here yesterday after doing the D&H Trail. Everyone was happy with the food and service. It was an integral part of the whole D&H Trail experience.“

“I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better fried haddock sandwich, a better drink, or better service than today. The food was amazing (this sandwich was massive! It filled both Adam and I!), and the bartender (Jared) was not only super friendly and social, but he also gave amazing recommendations on drinks, and was super attentive and overall one of the best bartenders I’ve ever been around! I will definitely be returning to Green Gables again.“

“Went in on a Saturday morning. Was greeted and sat as soon as I walked thru the entryway. Was a little busy, but my my drink order was taken right away and brought back. My food was served hot fresh and quickly. Even tho the waitress was the only one there and was busy, she was still able to check on me and make sure I had my coffee refilled and asked if I wanted or needed anything else. Felt very welcomed!
