“Nile Cafe in Germantown offers affordable vegan Soul food with big flavor! The modest interior is lightly decorated and sparsely seated. There were maybe six two-chaired tables. Outdoor seating options are available. Walking in, locals cycled in, ordered, waited, and cycled out constantly. All the food, served in to-go containers, was fantastic. The duck in gravy and the jerk chicken stole the show before we had the dessert. After being impressed, we dug deeper into the menu. The coffee ice cream was super creamy and the cake was moist and decadent. Nile Cafe is special. Although there isn't much on the menu we didn't try, the food was definitely worth a revisit. I might just stop in for dessert when I'm around.“

“We experienced the Dump & Roll food truck at 2SP brewery in Aston PA. We love 2SP’s beers and atmosphere, and they have a great assortment of food trucks Thursday-Sundays. Anyway, Friday night Dump & Roll truck was there, with a super friendly and enthusiastic Peter running it. We got the sampler for 2, which included everything on the menu for a really fair price. Sometimes I’m frustrated with how expensive food trucks can be, but I was really happy with Dump & Roll’s prices. Every dumpling was really good, paired with a sauce for each set. I loved everything, though I didn’t expect the mac & cheese eggroll. It was good, but the least of my favorites, if that makes sense. If you get a chance to try this truck, you won’t be disappointed! The food was great and Peter’s energy was great, so it was a really good experience!“

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. “A gal pal suggested we try out the new restaurant. It was EXCELLENT. I had lamb saag. She had mango chicken? We tasted each other's food and just giggled. We had the smoothie and Indian Coke drink- both awesome. The dining room is TINY but the table settings are works of art- fancy napkin sculptures and elegant, playful silverware & dishes. The onion stuffed naan was exquisite. Our server was attentive, polite and answered our questions without hostility or offense. The spices are ON POINT. Their system of personally developing everyone's plate is outstanding. I discovered that I am a wimpy +2 while my friend is a +3. Trying both our food with the varying heat/spice ratios, I could enjoy and taste all the flavors without having my tongue burned off, lol. My ONLY complaint, which has kept me from trying them in the past, is that to order and pick-up take-out, you must use their back door which I find to be creepy and dangerous looking. So I guess I'll only go when I can eat in, using the front door, LOL. However, I was impressed when we asked for our leftovers to be packaged, our server gave each of us free complimentary fresh bismati rice to go along with our uneaten entrees. They give good portions! And the packaging is washable, reusable, recyclable plastic containers- not cheap carboard that soaks up sauces or scary unstable thin plastic that leaks or horrible styrofoam that should be outlawed. THIS RESTAURANT IS WONDERFUL!“

“This is one of my favorite lunch spots when I'm working in Doylestown. Food is fast and delicious. The staff is kind and attentive. I've ordered from here often and I've never received a mistake in an order. Sometimes I wish there was more than one vegan option offered per day but it's thoughtful that the option rotates so it's not always the same thing. I've tried all their vegan empanadas and they're all perfect! Also, I appreciate the business offering a vegan sauce. Most restaurants in Doylestown have vegan options without a vegan sauce to go with them. The vegan chipotle sauce is great!“

“The best Jamaican food around . Very authentic, great taste, nice portions, reasonably priced and extremely friendly staff. We ordered it to try with my son in law who loves Jamaican food. He has tried several and says this is the best! The chef did his thing! Some of us never had it before and what a treat to try authentic food that was spot on. Not too spicy, just perfect! We recommend this to everyone and can’t wait to go back!“
