I come here around twice a month, and I always get take out - the pulled pork shoulder with the crispy skin on top (they got to use scissors to cut it), yellow rice, beans, and the spicy green salsa when they have it. The mango juice (when available) in the cooler on your left while ordering is a great accompaniment! I enjoy talking to the other customers about what they like, and how great everything is.“

“I love this place. The jerk chicken and the stew fish are insanely good. The Mac n cheese is to die for. You absolutely cannot pass on the collards or the rice with gravy. And dessert is a must. “The DM Sadonna was so welcoming. I passed her when shopping in Whole Foods and was asking about a food item. She kindly let me know she was unsure as she was not a WF employee. Fast forward when I went to order from PLNT she greeted me with a warm smile and hello as she recognized me from earlier. As I was deciding what to get she recommended the chilli and offered a sample. DELICIOUS! While preparing my order she held small conversation with my friend and I and still made a phemomenal burger. “The best Jamaican food around . Very authentic, great taste, nice portions, reasonably priced and extremely friendly staff. We ordered it to try with my son in law who loves Jamaican food. He has tried several and says this is the best! The chef did his thing! Some of us never had it before and what a treat to try authentic food that was spot on. Not too spicy, just perfect! “A gal pal suggested we try out the new restaurant. It was EXCELLENT. I had lamb saag. She had mango chicken? We tasted each other's food and just giggled. We had the smoothie and Indian Coke drink- both awesome. The dining room is TINY but the table settings are works of art- fancy napkin sculptures and elegant, playful silverware & dishes. The onion stuffed naan was exquisite. Our server was attentive, polite and answered our questions without hostility or offense. The spices are ON POINT. Their system of personally developing everyone's plate is outstanding. I discovered that I am a wimpy +2 while my friend is a +3. Trying both our food with the varying heat/spice ratios, I could enjoy and taste all the flavors without having my tongue burned off, lol. My ONLY complaint, which has kept me from trying them in the past, is that to order and pick-up take-out, you must use their back door which I find to be creepy and dangerous looking. So I guess I'll only go when I can eat in, using the front door, LOL. However, I was impressed when we asked for our leftovers to be packaged, our server gave each of us free complimentary fresh bismati rice to go along with our uneaten entrees. They give good portions! And the packaging is washable, reusable, recyclable plastic containers- not cheap carboard that soaks up sauces or scary unstable thin plastic that leaks or horrible styrofoam that should be outlawed. THIS RESTAURANT IS WONDERFUL!“
