I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. “It is rare for a brewpub to have vegan food, and I echo what others here have said about the quality and options. Owners are vegan and seemingly intend this to be sort of a vegan place with meat options without making it obvious, lol. Most pizzas can be made vegan, and the mushroom one comes drizzled with a black garlic aioli made with vegan mayo (I asked). Their flagship West Coast IPA is to die for. And the roasted broccoli appetizer was divine. Definitely a place to return to many times. The building is a former horse stable attached to a market, and we mistakenly went into the market first, but the pub is actually between the hotel and the market. Plenty of outside seating, not so much inside, so make a reservation. We went for lunch when it was not as busy. Very friendly cool staff.
