“The DM Sadonna was so welcoming. I passed her when shopping in Whole Foods and was asking about a food item. She kindly let me know she was unsure as she was not a WF employee. Fast forward when I went to order from PLNT she greeted me with a warm smile and hello as she recognized me from earlier. As I was deciding what to get she recommended the chilli and offered a sample. DELICIOUS! While preparing my order she held small conversation with my friend and I and still made a phemomenal burger. For my very first time meeting her, it felt like an old friend. I can only imagine the how she makes her staff feel. Definitley would go back just to say hello the next time Im food shopping in WF. Also the other young lady Kelly was sweet as well. As far as the food... you cant ever go wrong! Even my meat-eater friend and family enjoys the food. It is that good!!“

His knowledge and passion for the food is exceptional. He certainly made the experience one to remember. The Dorade was amazing, the skirt steak also incredible. The brown sugar ice cream is 10/10. Not a single thing hit our table that we weren’t 100% impressed with. The after dinner drink he suggested was perfect. Monte negro or something I can’t remember but it’s wonderful. “Pietramala is a superb restaurant that provides outstanding service and incredibly delicious, creative plant=based food. Everything is locally sourced that can be, including regional wines we had never tried before. Served family style, our group of 4 got to try many of their dishes, each of which was well executed and beautifully presented. We make it a pint to eat at excellent plant-based restaurants around the US and Canada. This place ranks right at the top.“

“5 of us sat at the bar & the experience did not disappoint! We had a full dining experience and the bartenders felt like our own private servers. They were so friendly, helpful and attentive, the chef even came out with one of our dishes! We had one person in our group who has Celiac and all the food we ordered was gluten free and the flavors were off the chart!! The ambiance, service & food all exceeded expectations. “Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! The lunch special is a fantastic value and includes soup and a spring roll. We chose the miso soup, which we agreed is the most flavorful we've ever had. Which made us deeply reflect about the naming of this shop. Discussion followed and agreement came that the shop should be called Squares and Circles showing that the squares are a lot better! We also thought about how circles are cut into triangles and would love for that shape to be considered in the naming of the shop.“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! “We were there for a private party wedding. My partner and I are vegetarian and there is not a lot on the standing menu that is vegetarian or vegan friendly. However, we notified our server and he said he would talk to the chef. With a couple of exceptions of things that they could easily modify from the standing menu, they essentially created an entirely new vegetarian menu for us on the spot. And it was really out of this world. There were so many great and interesting flavors. The staff and kitchen really went out of their way to make sure we were served delicious food along with the rest of the party. There were also two children at our table and they made accommodations to the menu for the kids as well. I would return to Helm in a heartbeat.
