The food, when it’s correct, is excellent! Problem is the shop cannot seem get an order right consistently. I order the same thing every time, specific toppings on a pizza. It’s been right 1 time in the last 5 orders. Maybe I’m an idiot to keep trying... but the food is genuinely good. It’s slow, (generally an hour+) which would be worth it if it was correct. I’m done trying. Moving on to decent pizza that’s consistently correct & great delivery time, instead of the crap shoot it is to order from here.“

“Took my Florida relatives to your restaurant on Friday. The server/ cook ( I believe her name was Kim?) Around 300pm . She explained to me and my party about the quality of the food, and how everything was homemade. She was extremely friendly and inviting. We all had a hard time deciding on what to eat, but we all got the fish. Of course our eyes were bigger then our stomachs, we took alot home. We all left full, happy and had a wonderful dining experience. Your delicious food, wonderful employees and wonderful atmosphere made your restaurant a 11 in my book. I will be back with friends and family on a regular basis, checking off a new and different menu choice on my next future visit. Thanks“

“If you love a Christmas explosion, this is the place. Such a fun atmosphere. Staff was so pleasant and informative. They had a buffet which was totally worth it and fun holiday drinks. Can't wait to come back for the summer.“

“The restaurant was too cold. It was uncomfortable. There was no where to sit in the entire restaurant that was warm other than the ladies room.“

“We are traveling and looked at menus online to decide where we wanted to eat. We chose this place based on a few items that sounded really good. When we arrived we found out those items weren't available and almost decided to leave. We're so glad we didn't! We chose the quesadillas, the mahi tacos, and the sliders. Everything was so good, especially the quesadillas! The service was excellent and the waitress was so apologetic for the lack of some menu items. Go out and support these ladies that are working through some staffing changes!“

“Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had. Seafood omelet and steel city breakfast delicious! Portions are large, had enough to bring some home. Husband had a banana split and said it it one of the best he’s eaten. Our waitress was so nice. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! We will definitely return when in the area.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“We frequently fly from Pittsburgh and stopping here with our daughters has become our tradition before many flights. Anthony has been our server/bartender for a number of years and he remembers us every time we stop in for a drink or dinner. He goes above and beyond and we really appreciate it. “I had hot roast beef and my husband had hot turkey. everything was delicious. portions were large. no wonder you all have been in business for 60 yrs. we will be back.“

“I like the 2-2-2 it's a breakfast meal you can get two pancakes or two toast you can get bacon or sausag and eggs it's around $9 it is 8 something but you got to think about tax everybody's so sweet and if you're lucky enough your kid can get a fruit snack and the cheeseburgers but the only bad thing is is tax and you have to pay for water but other than that it's pretty good if you go there every day they always remember you and it would be nice if they add kids meal

“First time visiting. Definitely worth the drive from Pittsburgh. Easily accessible, convenient parking. Party of two, dined inside. Enjoyed appetizers, entree and dessert. Food was delicious, and excellent - PERSONAL - service. Our waitress was Janet, and she was absolutely wonderful. Ended up striking conversation with her and another couple. “We’ve been saying for years that we are going to stop here and eat sometime. Today was finally “sometime” and now I regret not eating here sooner! It’s a great hole-in-the-wall type of diner. Food was delicious, service was friendly and warm. It’s a small menu with all the right choices plus a couple of daily specials. Lots of food for a great price. “Food was consistent with previous visits which is good. Temperature was a bit chilled as it wasn't too crowded plus outdoor temps were starting to drop. Portion sizes are solid and entree choices cover everything for all palates. Only thing is we find appetizer choices limiting and a bit pricey. Need some more variety and price points.“

I had to walk to a gas station to an ATM to get the cash. Besides that, the people that work in this place they are very polite and nice, they offer me coffee, and greet me properly. “Treated my son and myself to the lamb chop special. We both ordered medium rare. The chops were done perfectly! Our server Abby provided exemplary service -- friendly, speedy and attentive.
